White & Gray Apartments Overview
You know what hits you first when you walk into White & Gray Apartments? It’s not just the name – they actually nailed the aesthetic. Clean whites, subtle grays, but not in that sterile way that makes you feel like you’re in a medical facility. I mean, when I first stepped into the lobby, I honestly thought I’d walked into one of those design magazines my sister’s always flipping through.
The location on Dlouhá street is – well, it’s pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the chaos. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Old Town Square (I timed it, because I’m weird like that), but here’s the thing locals know: Dlouhá is where Prague’s nightlife actually happens. Not the touristy stuff, but the real bars where university students and young professionals hang out. The Hemingway Bar is practically next door, and honestly, their cocktails are ridiculous – in the best way. But if you’re worried about noise, don’t be. The apartments have surprisingly good soundproofing, and most of the action stays street-level anyway.
What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to feel both modern and respectful of the old city. The building itself has that classic Prague architecture (you’ll see those beautiful arched windows), but inside it’s all sleek fixtures and actually functional WiFi – which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given in these historic buildings. The kitchenettes are small but they’ve got everything you actually need, not just the bare minimum. I made coffee every morning using their machine, and it didn’t taste like cardboard water, which is honestly a win. The bathrooms have heated floors, which sounds fancy but is actually just practical when you’re dealing with those chilly Prague mornings, even in summer. Parking can be tricky in Staré město – actually, scratch that, parking is always tricky – but they’ve got a partnership with a garage about two blocks away. Not cheap, but it beats circling the narrow streets for an hour looking for a spot that doesn’t exist. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 3 PM because the front desk gets swamped with checkout stuff earlier in the day.
The 9.5 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but everything just… works. The elevators are fast, the air conditioning actually cools things down, and when I had an issue with the TV remote (dead batteries, nothing dramatic), someone was up within ten minutes with new ones. These seem like small things until you’ve stayed in places where small things become big headaches. If you’re planning to visit during summer or around Christmas, book early – this place fills up because word gets around. Prague locals actually recommend it to their visiting friends, which tells you something. It’s got that sweet spot of being nice enough to feel special but not so precious that you’re afraid to actually live in the space for a few days.
Hotels in Prague offer guests the perfect blend of Gothic grandeur and modern comfort, with many featuring traditional Czech beer concierge services and medieval architecture to enhance the authentic Central European cultural experience.

This is the best apartment.
We were 2+2 it was big enough, comfortable, very clean.

The apartment was perfectly situated within the city making it easy to get around. Every thing was catered for and very thoughtful. Andrea was the most incredible hostess & super accommodating of our delayed arrival.
Jill from United Kingdom – 5 December 2024 (10/10)
This was a fabulous, modern apartment in a great location very close to the old town square. Despite its central location, it was quiet and we slept well. On the bottom floor, there are restaurants, bakeries etc. The whole building is clean and secure. We had everything we needed (iron, decent hairdryer, toiletries, washing machine etc) If I were to be really picky, I’d say a mirror in the bedroom would be a good addition.
We would definitely book again if we return to beautiful Prague.
What could be improved: Nothing. An additional mirror would be good but that’s just me being picky.Leonid from Israel – 29 August 2024 (10/10)
