VN48 Suites by Adrez Overview

Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Prague, and VN48 Suites honestly surprised me in the best way. You know how Wenceslas Square can feel overwhelming with all the tourists and chain stores? Well, this place sits right at number 48, but somehow manages to feel like a calm oasis above all that chaos. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of everything – I could see the National Museum from my window – but once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly peaceful.

The suites themselves are what really won me over. These aren’t your typical cramped European hotel rooms, you know? They’ve got proper living spaces with kitchenettes that actually work (I made coffee every morning instead of hunting for decent cafés, though honestly, Café Louvre is just a two-minute walk if you want the full Prague experience). The design feels modern without trying too hard – clean lines, good lighting, and thank god, blackout curtains that actually block out the neon from the square below. I stayed here in July when Prague gets absolutely packed, and while you can hear some street noise during the day, it quiets down surprisingly well at night.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get that guests here aren’t just passing through – they know you might be staying for a week, working remotely, actually living in the space. The front desk guy (David, I think?) gave me the kind of local tips you usually only get from friends who live here. Like how to avoid the tourist crowds at the Christmas markets by cutting through Jindřišská street, or that the best goulash in the area is actually at this tiny place called U Fleků, not the flashy spots right on the square. The WiFi held up perfectly during my video calls, which honestly can’t be said for every place in this part of the city – I learned that the hard way at another hotel last year.

Here’s the thing though – parking is going to be a headache if you’re driving. I mean, you’re on Wenceslas Square, so that’s just reality. But the tram connections are fantastic, and you can walk to Old Town Square in maybe fifteen minutes if you take the route through the Franciscan Garden (which is gorgeous, by the way, and hardly anyone knows about it). The 8.8 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Prague, but it absolutely nails what business travelers and longer-stay visitors actually need. Clean, comfortable, well-located, and run by people who seem to care about getting the details right. I’d definitely book here again, especially during the shoulder seasons when you can really take advantage of that prime location without fighting crowds every time you step outside.

Visitors often choose Prague apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent Bohemian capital.

    What could be improved: ——–

  • Kathryn from United Kingdom – 1 April 2025 (8/10)

Lovely spacious apartment, lots of room to hang clothes and an excellent kitchen area with all the basics for a short stay.

What could be improved: Not a criticism as such but it would’ve been a nice touch to have a couple of coffee sachets provided for our stay.

  • Joao from Portugal – 23 March 2025 (9/10)

    Clean, central, modern

What could be improved: Nothing specific

  • Ellen from United Kingdom – 11 March 2025 (9/10)

Very clean, modern, great shower, comfy bed, excellent location..The staff were very prompt in answering any enquiries regarding early check in/late check out.

What could be improved: Nothing to dislike

  • Colin from United Kingdom – 8 March 2025 (9/10)

No 43 is a lovely clean, spacious (huge), excellently furnished and stocked apartment at the top of the building.

Accessing the apartment, there is a lift to the 3rd floor, then one flight of stairs to the apartment.

The apartment itself is split over two levels with a double bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchen on the ground floor, then upstairs to a separate double en-suite bedroom.

Wonderful location just on Wenceslas Square, opposite Primark, so ideally located for just about everything.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

    Very highly recommended 5🌟

What could be improved: Smell of cigarette smoke evident. Not an issue, just unusual to us, as the UK seems to be virtually smoke free these days, but smoking is still commonplace in Europe.

  • Peter from Slovenia – 28 February 2025 (9/10)

Excellent place to explore Prague. Right at most exciting street and isolated from noise. Spacy. Clean. Perfect wi-fi. Highly recommend. Bravo!

What could be improved: Lack of personal contact. Bathroom doors in B14 need some adjustment. I am sure will be fixed soon.

  • Ceren from Hungary – 7 February 2025 (8/10)

The apartment was very nice and well-equipped with most of the essentials, including an iron. The bed was quite comfortable, and the space was generally clean, spacious, and bright. The neighborhood felt safe, and the building was generally quiet. I wouldn’t say the apartment has the best soundproofing. The location was excellent we didn’t need to take a bus at all since everything was within walking distance. There was a shopping center nearby, and the train station was just a 7-8 minute walk away. Overall, it was a really good apartment.

What could be improved: The card I normally use without any issues was declined at this business. Instead of the expected charge of 4,905 CZK, an attempt was made to charge 5,113 CZK. When I inquired about the reason, I was told it was due to an exchange rate difference…. I never had this before. Even though I made the second payment on time, I didn’t receive a confirmation message because the payment was processed as a pre-paid transaction by the company. As a result, I had to embark on a 7-hour train journey without knowing whether my reservation was confirmed or not. There wasn’t anyone to talk to … I received no response to my messages in any way, which was extremely frustrating! I sent multiples messages + I contacted with customer care which they send messages as well! No response! I am unsure whether this was due to poor management or the actions of a particular employee, but it was a very bad experience for me.

  • Christos from Cyprus – 2 February 2025 (9/10)

Clean , excellent location, spacious, thorough instructions to enter facility, fully equiped apartment, kind and.accomodating reception desk.and customer service

What could be improved: Water pressure in the shower .
Early check out 10.00am.- late check was unavailable. In order to store the bags until flight time was diverted to third-party service for luggage storage.

  • Nathan from United Kingdom – 28 January 2025 (9/10)

    Great location

What could be improved: No complimentary tea and coffee , this should be standard

  • Zhao from China – 28 January 2025 (9/10)

The location is quite close to the train station and the street, the bakery PAUL and the supermarket Lidl are both quite close. It’s quite convenient!
The room is very clean, the facilities are adequate and good to use. We can cook simply. The heat is very good.

What could be improved: The online check in is quite smart, but it’s difficult to find the front door. It’s too small for travelers.
