Urban Apartment Skorepka Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Urban Apartment Skorepka on a narrow cobblestone street in Prague, you immediately know you’ve found something special. This four-star apartment sits right in the heart of Old Town — I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that makes Prague magical. The building itself has that classic Central European charm, but what really struck me was how quiet it felt despite being surrounded by the city’s main attractions.

The Heart of Old Town

Honestly, the location is almost too good to be true. You can walk to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Astronomical Clock in under ten minutes — no exaggeration. What I love about Skořepka street is that it’s tucked away enough to avoid the tourist crowds that swarm the main squares, but you’re still close enough to pop out for dinner or sightseeing whenever you want. The couples who stay here absolutely rave about it, and I get why — there’s something romantic about having your own little hideaway in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.

Your Prague Home Base

The room itself feels more like a stylish city flat than a typical hotel space. You’ve got a proper kitchen setup, which is actually pretty handy when you want to grab fresh bread from the local bakery and have breakfast at your own pace. The design strikes that perfect balance between modern comfort and Prague’s historic character — think clean lines but with touches that remind you where you are. The windows look out onto the quiet street, and there’s something satisfying about watching locals go about their daily routines while you’re on vacation.

Living Like a Local

What really sets this place apart is how it lets you experience Prague like you actually live here. You’ll find yourself shopping at the small grocery stores nearby, discovering which café makes the best coffee, and taking shortcuts through tiny alleyways that most tourists never see. The neighborhood has this authentic feel — you know, real Prague residents going to work, walking their dogs, chatting with shopkeepers. It’s refreshing after dealing with the tourist-heavy areas during the day.

Why Guests Love It

The combination of location and independence is what keeps people coming back. You get the freedom of having your own space (complete with that kitchen for late-night snacks or morning coffee) while being positioned perfectly to explore everything Prague offers. The 8.6 rating really reflects what you experience — it’s not trying to be a fancy hotel with a spa or elaborate restaurant, but it nails what matters most: comfort, location, and that feeling of discovering a hidden gem. Plus, there’s something special about having a Prague address, even if it’s just for a few days.

Reviews of Urban Apartment Skorepka

  • Pleasant – Anonymous from Germany – 17 June 2025 (6/10)

The location is good, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby

What could be improved: Since the apartment is located next to the entrance – expect to hear noise at night when people return to their accomodations
The bedroom doesn't have any windows – that might not be clear based on photos

  • Excellent stay at this central apartment In Pragues – Philippe from France – 2 June 2025 (10/10)

Very nice place if you want to have a central apartment in Prague! Literally walking distance to everything.

Place itself is big and has all you need for a pleasant stay.

  • Toll! – Cassandra from Germany – 26 May 2025 (10/10)

Gute Lage und voll ausgestattete Küche, schöne Deko

What could be improved: Toilette und Badezimmer getrennt, die Toilettentür scheint sich verzogen zu haben was für ein massiv lautes knallen bei schließen und öffnen sorgt.

  • Exceptional – Monica from Colombia – 20 May 2025 (10/10)

    Ubicación y limpieza extraordinaria.

What could be improved: Que el inodoro estaba lejos del lavamanos.

  • Pěkné ubytování. – Jana from Czech Republic – 29 March 2025 (9/10)

Apartmán v centru Prahy a přesto v klidné oblasti. Poměr ceny a kvality ubytování velmi dobrý. Kuchyňský kout dobře vybavený.

  • Nice stay – Tara from Ireland – 21 March 2025 (7/10)

Very spacious apartment in a convenient location near Prague main square. Lots of restaurants and bars in neighbouring street.

What could be improved: No cold running water in bathroom. Apartment in need of updating and painting.

  • Exceptional – Marie from Czech Republic – 16 March 2025 (10/10)

    Perfektní.

  • This Property is a Gem in the city centre! – Elaine from United Kingdom – 26 February 2025 (10/10)

The property is a gem! If I go back to budapest, I will defo book this again. This unit is super cool and advance. Everything is just coded which saves you from carrying a key – thank God! The location itself was strategic, close to shops, restaurants and especially the world most famous and most beautiful New York Cafe- literally 4 mins walk.

Even if you stay long term, you will have everything that you need. Like fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, washing area, good size toilet with toiletries.

Lastly, the views were stunning! I love seeing the hussle and bussle of the city. Budapest is a lovely place and defo worth a visit.

This Property is a Gem in the city centre!

What could be improved: Nothing. Everything was amazing!

  • ❤️ – Yihang from Sweden – 17 December 2024 (10/10)

Great location and great decoration! Everything looks exactly the same as the photos.

What could be improved: It’s probably not apartment’s fault but the google map shows the location on wrong side of the street… it’s a little bit confusing at first but we figured out.
