Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Urban Apartment Skorepka? It’s tucked away on this quiet little street that most tourists completely miss, even though you’re literally a five-minute walk from Old Town Square. I mean, Skořepka street is one of those narrow cobblestone lanes that feels almost residential – which is honestly perfect if you’re tired of the constant buzz of the main tourist areas. The building itself has that classic Prague character, all weathered stone and those tall windows, but apartment number 2 has been updated in all the right ways without losing its charm.
The space actually surprised me – it’s bigger than the photos suggest, and whoever designed it really thought about how people actually live. The kitchen’s properly equipped (not just some sad mini-fridge situation), and there’s enough counter space to spread out if you’re planning to cook. The bathroom’s modern without being sterile, and honestly, the water pressure is better than half the hotels I’ve stayed at in Prague. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details – decent hangers in the closet, proper blackout curtains that actually block the morning light, and outlets where you need them instead of hidden behind furniture. The Wi-Fi’s solid too, which matters more than people admit.
Location-wise, this is where it gets interesting. You’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters – Wenceslas Square, the Jewish Quarter, all those postcard-perfect spots – but far enough from the madness that you can actually sleep at night. I could hear church bells in the morning, which sounds cliché but was actually lovely, and the street stays pretty quiet even on weekends. There’s a little grocery store about two blocks away on Národní, and if you head toward the river, you’ll hit some genuinely good restaurants that aren’t just tourist traps. The tram connections are easy once you figure them out, though honestly, I ended up walking most places because Prague’s just that kind of city.
Look, it’s a solid 3-star place that performs like it knows what it’s doing. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works the way it should. Check-in was smooth, the place was spotless, and there weren’t any unpleasant surprises. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer trip where having a proper apartment setup would matter. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and feel like you’re living in Prague for a few days rather than just passing through.

The property is a gem! If I go back to budapest, I will defo book this again. This unit is super cool and advance. Everything is just coded which saves you from carrying a key – thank God! The location itself was strategic, close to shops, restaurants and especially the world most famous and most beautiful New York Cafe- literally 4 mins walk.
Even if you stay long term, you will have everything that you need. Like fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, washing area, good size toilet with toiletries.
Lastly, the views were stunning! I love seeing the hussle and bussle of the city. Budapest is a lovely place and defo worth a visit.

Great location and great decoration! Everything looks exactly the same as the photos.
What could be improved: It’s probably not apartment’s fault but the google map shows the location on wrong side of the street… it’s a little bit confusing at first but we figured out.Nice stay – Tara from Ireland – 21 March 2025 (7/10)
Very spacious apartment in a convenient location near Prague main square. Lots of restaurants and bars in neighbouring street.
What could be improved: No cold running water in bathroom. Apartment in need of updating and painting.Pleasant – Anonymous from Germany – 17 June 2025 (6/10)
The location is good, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby
What could be improved: Since the apartment is located next to the entrance – expect to hear noise at night when people return to their accomodations
The bedroom doesn't have any windows – that might not be clear based on photosToll! – Cassandra from Germany – 26 May 2025 (10/10)
