Honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Španělská street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a hotel tucked into what’s basically a residential neighborhood. But you know what? That turned out to be exactly the charm of TurnKey’s elegant studio setup. The building itself has that classic Prague character – you’re literally a two-minute walk from the National Museum (hence the name), but it feels like you’re staying in an actual Prague neighborhood rather than some touristy bubble.

The studio itself is… well, it’s exactly what they promise. Clean lines, everything you need without feeling cramped, and honestly the kind of place where you can actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night – Španělska isn’t one of those main drags where trams are clattering by at all hours, so you actually get decent sleep. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s really well-organized apartment than staying in a typical hotel room. I mean, there’s a proper kitchenette situation going on, which is clutch when you want morning coffee without hunting down a café or when you grab those amazing pastries from the bakery around the corner on Mezibranská and want somewhere civilized to eat them.

Location-wise, this is where things get interesting. You’re close enough to walk to Wenceslas Square in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise that come with staying right in the thick of things. The Muzeum metro station is right there – I’m talking maybe a three-minute walk – so getting anywhere in the city is straightforward. What I really appreciated was being able to walk to Vinohrady for dinner (there’s this incredible wine bar on Korunní that locals actually go to) without feeling like I was trekking across the city. The whole area has that lived-in Prague feel where you see people walking their dogs and grabbing groceries, not just tourists taking selfies every five steps. Check-in was smooth – they’ve got that modern keyless entry thing figured out, so no awkward lobby interactions if that’s not your scene. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you factor in that it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not.

  It was spacious, with Heated floors that was located minutes (walking) from the train station. It was nicely stocked with kitchen items that would be useful for anyone. Self check-in was easy. (just be aware if you are arriving at night as we did, you can’t discern the green colour of the building; so, look for the building number). The staff were also very responsive to questions and provided local suggestions.
  
  What could be improved: We are walkers, but you should be prepared to walk 20-30 minutes to hook up with traditional Old Town Tours. (We loved the walk and it is enjoyable, but you should be aware of this).

  Location is perfect. The appartement is cozy and has everything you’ll need for a short stay. Communication with TurnKey was fast. Apartment is on the -1 floor so the ‘view’ is watching peoples ankles walking by. But that’s no issue as your hopefully exploring Prague.

  Sehr schöne Einrichtung, man hat alles, was man braucht. Sogar Kochtöpfe, eine Pfanne, Gewürze und Öl waren dabei. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Appartement.
  
  What could be improved: Ich hatte kein WiFi, weil der Router nicht an der Steckdose angeschlossen war. Der sollte vielleicht nicht, wie sonst alle anderen Geräte, aus sein, wenn ein Gast kommt. Der Router war gut versteckt unter dem Bett. Es hat ein bisschen gedauert, bis ich ihn gefunden habe. Nachdem der an war, hat alles funktioniert 😉
