Seifert Residence

Capital City of Prague, Czechia

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Seifert Residence on Koněvova street, you’ll notice it doesn’t scream “hotel” at first glance — and that’s actually part of its charm. This four-star property feels more like stepping into a well-appointed residential building, which makes sense given the name. The entrance has this understated elegance that immediately tells you you’re somewhere thoughtfully designed, not just another cookie-cutter accommodation. The overall aesthetic reflects a careful curation of modern comfort with classic Prague sensibilities.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot in Prague — you’re in Vinohrady, which honestly feels like where actual Praguers live rather than just tourist central. Koněvova street runs through this fantastic residential area that’s got character without the crowds. You can walk to the city center, sure, but you’re also surrounded by local cafes, proper Czech pubs, and tree-lined streets that give you a real sense of the city. The metro connections are solid too, so you’re never really stuck anywhere. This neighborhood represents the authentic heart of Prague life, far removed from the typical tourist corridors.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in felt more like a temporary Prague apartment than a typical hotel setup. There’s this attention to detail in the furnishings — not flashy, but everything just works well together. The kitchen area was actually useful (you know how hotel kitchenettes can be pretty useless), and I found myself making coffee there most mornings instead of heading out immediately. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I mean as a compliment. Natural light floods through the windows, and the layout encourages you to truly inhabit the space rather than simply pass through it.

Daily Life at the Property

What struck me most was how the place operates — it’s got this residential rhythm that’s quite different from your typical hotel bustle. The staff knows guests by name pretty quickly, and there’s this relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger in the common areas. You’ll find yourself chatting with other travelers in a way that feels natural, not forced. The building itself has this quiet efficiency that just lets you settle into Prague life without any fuss. This approach to hospitality creates genuine connections between guests and staff alike.

Why Guests Love It

Couples seem to really connect with this place, and I can see why — there’s something intimate about the scale and the neighborhood setting that makes it feel special. You’re getting that local Prague experience without sacrificing comfort or convenience. The location consistently gets high marks because it strikes this perfect balance between being accessible and being authentically Prague. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out. The parking facilities are conveniently arranged, and the overall property management reflects a commitment to guest satisfaction that extends to every detail.

One of the best places to long stayterm in Prague

Enjoyed my stay in Seifert Residence a lot.
Clear benefits:
Location
Personnel
Apartment itself
Everything works correctly
No troubles with hot water
Intelligent and respectful neighbours
Everything for self serving is available

What could be improved: Early checkout and no luggage drop off option made my last day a bit more anxious than I planned it to be.
No convenient sockets to iron and charge mobile near the bed.
It can get very noisy both from the street outside the window and from inside the building, especially if someone is talking or opening a door in the hallway nearby.

Awesome place in Zizkov

The place was nice with most things covered and it was sufficiently clean! Washing machine + pods, necessary toiletries and other items were provided. Bed was two single beds together. There's a nice brunch place ran by the hotel downstairs. The area of Zizkov is great - plenty if bars nearby. The staff was very present (online) and I felt safe approaching them at any time. They were also so kind to help us when we forgot something there. Thank you Thereza for the service

What could be improved: We paid too much for what it was (due to a big event in town so everything was expensive) but overall our expectations were exceeded.

Comfortable stay in a hip area

The balcony was a big plus, the location is not so central, but still well connected.
A lot of nice local bars around, the hill to watch a sunset is unbeatable

What could be improved: The door felt like cardboard - you could hear everyone leaving/coming.
The apartment had small ants
