Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Central Prague Crown Apartments on U Půjčovny street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Prague” feeling — not some tourist bubble, but actually where the city lives and breathes. The building has that classic Central European charm without being overly polished, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re staying in one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. This four-star property sits right in the heart of everything, and I mean everything — you’re literally steps away from the major sights but tucked into a quieter residential street that locals actually use.

The Apartment Experience

What struck me most about Central Prague Crown Apartments is how they’ve managed to create spaces that feel like temporary homes rather than hotel rooms. The apartments are thoughtfully designed with separate living areas, proper kitchens (not those tiny hotel kitchenettes), and enough space to actually unpack your suitcase. You know what I really appreciated? The attention to local touches — artwork from Czech artists, furnishings that nod to Prague’s design heritage, but modern amenities that actually work. The Wi-Fi is solid, the heating responds quickly (crucial during Prague winters), and there’s enough storage space for longer stays.

Location Magic

Here’s where this place really shines — and that 9.7 location score isn’t just marketing fluff. You can walk to Old Town Square in about eight minutes, but you’re also close enough to Wenceslas Square and the Jewish Quarter that everything feels accessible on foot. I love that you’re near actual Prague life too — there’s a fantastic local bakery around the corner that opens early, and you’ll find yourself sharing the streets with people heading to work, not just tour groups. The tram connections are excellent if you want to explore beyond the center, and honestly, being able to walk back to your apartment after dinner instead of hunting for your hotel key card? That’s the kind of convenience that makes a trip memorable.

Perfect for Couples

I can absolutely see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about having your own little Prague pied-à-terre, even if it’s just for a few nights. The apartments give you space to breathe and plan your days over morning coffee, plus you can pick up ingredients at the local market and cook together if you want a break from restaurant meals. The neighborhood has that intimate European feel where you can stroll hand-in-hand down cobblestone streets without fighting crowds, yet you’re never more than a few minutes from the main attractions when you’re ready to dive back into tourist mode.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets Central Prague Crown Apartments apart is how it lets you experience Prague like a temporary resident rather than a passing visitor. You get the independence of apartment living with the reliability of professional hospitality service — someone’s there when you need help, but you’re not dealing with hotel lobby crowds or rigid breakfast schedules. The combination of that unbeatable location, the space to spread out, and the authentic neighborhood feel creates something special. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next Prague trip before you’ve even checked out.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Prague through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich medieval heritage.

The host greeted us with hospitality. The location is nice for getting around the city. The lift is ti y but was super helpful as we have big luggages. Rooms are great for 5 people.

What could be improved: The bathroom is quite small and the toilet is super tiny which is a bit inconvenient.

A very comfortable apartment in a great location close to the train station and a short walk to the old town of Prague. Plenty of space for families and all of the necessary facilities required. Groceries, restaurants, shops are all within easy reach.

What could be improved: Nothing.
