You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually in Vinohrady, which – honestly – is where I’d want to stay if I lived in Prague. The Romantic designer apartment sits on Korunovační street, and while that might sound intimidating to pronounce, it’s this lovely tree-lined road that feels properly residential without being boring. You’re on the 5th floor (European counting, so that’s the 6th for us Americans), and I mean, yes, there’s an elevator, but the views from up there are worth the ride.

The designer part isn’t just marketing fluff – someone actually put thought into this space. The furniture has that mid-century modern vibe that photographs well but also, surprisingly, feels comfortable to live in for a few days. I loved the kitchen setup because you can actually cook if you want to (the local markets are incredible), but you’re also walking distance from some fantastic restaurants. Vinohrady has this great mix of places locals eat and spots that welcome tourists without gouging them. The apartment itself is quiet – Prague can get pretty lively, especially in summer, but this street stays relatively peaceful even on weekends.

What really sold me on the location is how connected you feel to actual Prague life. There’s a tram stop basically at your doorstep that’ll get you to Old Town in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also surrounded by cafes and wine bars that close at reasonable hours and cater to people who live here year-round. The nearby Náměstí Míru is one of those squares that locals actually use – not just a tourist photo op – and the whole neighborhood has this lived-in elegance that feels authentically Czech rather than theme-park Prague. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the building feels solid and well-maintained in a way that made me sleep better. Sometimes these older European buildings can be… well, creaky. This one isn’t. The 9.7 rating makes total sense when you factor in the thoughtful design, the genuinely helpful host communication, and the fact that you’re getting a real apartment experience in one of the city’s most livable neighborhoods. It’s the kind of place where you might find yourself planning a longer return trip.

  My wife and I loved staying at this place because it has so many personal touches that made it cozy, romantic & convenient! The staff was very helpful in answering our questions and providing guidance. We loved that there were fairy lights along the sheer curtains on one side of the bed, there were coffee for me to make in the morning, and the washer was a normal size (not mini-size) and there were detergent for it. The fridge even had 2 cans of beer for us to drink!! On our first night, we were tired and didn’t want to wander far and found it convenient that there was a Chinese restaurant a few doors down and a mini-market at the corner, along with a bunch of other restaurants that are within walking distance. If and when we come back to Prague, we would love to stay at the same place!

  Great location, short walk through the park and you're in the city. Only half an hour's walk through the park and gardens and you're in the castle area and St Vitus. Very comfortable apartment that felt like home.

  A wonderful apartment that is beautifully furnished. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The bed is super-comfortable. It's quiet. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. The balcony is a bonus!
