Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Rezidence Davids? It’s tucked away on Křižíkova street in a way that feels properly Prague – not hidden exactly, but not screaming for attention either. I mean, you’re in Karlín, which honestly took me a while to warm up to when I first started visiting Prague, but now I actually prefer staying in this neighborhood over the tourist-heavy Old Town madness.
The apartments themselves are solid – and I say that as someone who’s crashed in way too many European “apartment hotels” that turn out to be glorified hostels with kitchenettes. These feel like actual places where people live, you know? The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a hot plate and prayer), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night – Křižíkova isn’t exactly a main drag, so you’re not dealing with trams rattling past at 5 AM or drunk groups stumbling home. Though honestly, if you’re the type who needs to stumble home drunk yourself, it’s maybe a 15-minute walk to Wenceslas Square, so not exactly exile.
The neighborhood thing is what makes this place work, actually. There’s this excellent Vietnamese place called Pho Vietnam just around the corner that locals queue up for – and trust me, when Prague locals queue for Vietnamese food, you pay attention. Plus you’ve got the Karlín Market Hall within walking distance, which is where you want to go for proper Czech produce and that slightly chaotic Eastern European shopping experience that somehow always works out fine. The staff at Davids seem to get that most guests aren’t just passing through for one night – they’re genuinely helpful about practical stuff like where to buy groceries or which tram gets you to the castle without three transfers. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “here’s seventeen keycards and a novel’s worth of house rules” drama you sometimes get with apartment rentals. I think what keeps bringing me back (yeah, I’ve stayed here three times now) is that 8.8 rating isn’t inflated – it’s just a well-run place that doesn’t try to be fancy but nails the basics. The beds are actually comfortable, the wifi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave, and housekeeping doesn’t act like changing towels is a personal favor. It’s three stars that feel earned rather than three stars apologizing for not being four.

Nice apartment near bus station and historic center – Graciana from Argentina – 23 July 2025 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay! Check-in and check-out were super clear and easy. The location is excellent—just a 4-minute walk from the bus station and very close to the historic center. Despite being near the bus station, the area is actually very nice and felt totally safe.
The building has an elevator, which was really helpful with our large suitcases. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and one of the cleanest places we stayed during our trip.
The kitchen is well equipped for breakfast and cooking, with a toaster, coffee maker, and even basics like sugar. Communication with the host was smooth and fast—they replied immediately when we had a question.
We would definitely stay here again!
What could be improved: –Exceptional – Natalie from United Kingdom – 23 July 2025 (10/10)
Great little apartment close to everything
Superb – Katrin from Belgium – 10 July 2025 (9/10)
The location was great for our purposes (conference venue, we booked a few rooms), there is also a bus stop RIGHT outside the appartment. While there is no reception the host was very responsive and helpful on whatsapp/phone. The room was very comfortable and had convenient facilities like a fridge and a stove. For instance when we asked for an extra key they brought it right away.
What could be improved: There is no way to store your luggage if you arrive early – but it is actually not a big issue as there is a bus station with luggage storage very close.Superb – Nešić from Serbia – 8 July 2025 (9/10)
Very clean room, all that you need you can find in neighborhood, great location, 15min.from city center, metro station is nearby…Great value for money…
Perfect location for good money with good facilities! – Mateusz from Poland – 2 July 2025 (8/10)
The AC was handy, the temperature was high!
What could be improved: I guess everything was good.Superb – Pam from Greece – 29 June 2025 (9/10)
The pizza restaurant on the ground floor is excellent and good prices
What could be improved: The apartment was a bit too far from Old Town, which meant I only made the journey once each day. My fault for not researching it more.
No AC meant i had to leave the windows open and there was late night noise around the apartmentsSuperb – Dan_2323 from United Kingdom – 16 June 2025 (9/10)
The location is fantastic. You are just a couple of minutes from one of the main metro stations and the central bus station. Close to supermarkets/mini markets, pharmacy and plenty of bars and places to eat.
Jan Zizka monument and army museum is only a 20-minute walk. This is a sight than not a lot of tourists make the trip to go see but it's worth the visit for the monument and the view. So definitely check that out.
The main sights of the city are all walkable. But you do have great access to public transport and public transport is still very cheap in Prague.
The room is a decent size. Would have preferred a double bed rather than 2 single beds together, but it is clear from the description that this is a twin bed apartment.
The building also has a lift, so it's accessible for people who may not be able to easily walk up 3 flights of stairs.
Will definitely stay there again next time I'm back.Confortable room – Fabio from Ireland – 2 June 2025 (9/10)
The mattress is super comfortable, the room size is good, and there is a large balcony. The location is good and walking distance from touristic spots.
What could be improved: The room was not very clean. There was hair in the sink and bath.Exceptional – Olha from Ukraine – 12 May 2025 (10/10)
Very nice and comfy apartment, we had everything needed, check-in was fast and easy.
Great service apartment facilities! – Gerard from Malaysia – 26 April 2025 (9/10)
Facilities and location. Plus spaciousness of the room and a well equipped kitchenette.
What could be improved: Should provide shower gel. Also more than a tiny bar of soap is needed for a 4-night stay. A soap dish in the walk-in shower would also be helpful.
It would also help to have a pepper shaker provided as that was conspicuously missing considered everything else that was provided.
