Old Town Residence by Little King

Capital City of Prague, Czechia
Maiselova 15, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Old Town Residence by Little King on Maiselova Street, you immediately get that feeling — you know, when you realize you’ve stumbled onto something special. This four-star property sits right in the thick of Prague‘s Old Town, and I mean literally in the heart of it all. The building itself has that classic Prague charm, with those beautiful historic facades that make you want to stop and take photos before you even check in. The entrance welcomes you with elegant architectural details that hint at the thoughtful restoration work throughout the property.

Location Magic

Honestly, the location here is pretty incredible. You’re basically a two-minute walk from Old Town Square — I timed it because I’m that kind of person — and the Astronomical Clock is right there whenever you want to catch the hourly show. What I love about Maiselova Street specifically is that it’s tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but you can still hear the gentle buzz of Prague life around you. Couples absolutely rave about this spot, and after spending time here, I totally get why they rate it so highly for romantic getaways.

The Accommodation

The room I stayed in had this perfect blend of modern comfort and old-world character that you hope for but don’t always find. The ceilings were high — really high — and the windows looked out onto the charming street below. You’ll find all the essentials you need, plus some thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The beds are comfortable (trust me, I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are well-designed without feeling cramped. Each space feels carefully curated to maximize both comfort and that authentic Prague atmosphere you’re seeking.

Exploring the Neighborhood

What’s brilliant about staying here is how walkable everything becomes. The Jewish Quarter is literally around the corner, and you can wander through those historic synagogues and museums without any planning whatsoever. Charles Bridge is maybe a five-minute stroll — perfect for those early morning photos when the crowds haven’t descended yet. I actually found myself coming back to the hotel throughout the day just because it was so easy, whether I needed to drop off shopping bags or grab a quick rest between sightseeing.

Why Guests Love It

Look, there are plenty of places to stay in Prague, but this one gets the balance right. You’re getting that authentic Prague experience that so many travelers are after. The staff knows the area inside and out — they’ll point you toward the best local spots rather than just the tourist traps. Plus, there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that couples consistently rate as exceptional for location. When you can walk to dinner, walk to sights, and walk back to a comfortable room in a beautiful historic building, well, that’s pretty much the Prague experience you came for.

Clean room with ac working.
Great location you can walk to the famous bridge in 6 mins

What could be improved: No elevator
Hair dryer was going off after using it for 5 mins. There can be a better model.
Could be extra mirrors near the tv.
