City center apartment Overview

You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually an apartment, not a traditional hotel – which honestly makes way more sense when you’re staying right on Jindřišská Street in Prague’s New Town. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Wenceslas Square, but somehow you get to feel like you live there instead of just passing through like every other tourist.

The location is pretty incredible once you realize what you’re working with. Jindřišská runs parallel to the main tourist drag, so you get all the convenience without the constant stream of tour groups walking past your window at 7 AM. There’s this great little Vietnamese place right around the corner that locals actually eat at – not the touristy stuff you’ll find closer to Old Town Square. And if you need groceries or whatever, there’s a Tesco just down the street that stays open late. The building itself has that classic Prague charm – you know, the kind with the heavy wooden doors and those old-school European elevators that make you slightly nervous but somehow still work perfectly.

What really sets this apart, though, is how they’ve managed to keep it feeling residential while still giving you proper hotel-level service. The apartment I stayed in had this amazing high ceiling situation going on – must be like 12 feet – and these huge windows that actually open (which is honestly a big deal after staying in too many sealed hotel rooms). The kitchen was fully stocked, not just for show, and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure. I was there in October and the heating worked great, which… well, let’s just say that’s not always a given in older Prague buildings. The Wi-Fi was solid too – I was working remotely and never had issues, even during peak hours. Only tiny complaint? The street can get a bit lively on weekend nights, but honestly, if you’re staying in central Prague and expecting total silence, you’re probably doing it wrong anyway. Plus, they provide good blackout curtains and the windows block most of the noise once you close them. That 9.7 rating makes total sense when you actually stay here – it’s one of those places where all the little details just work the way they should.

To book a hotel in Prague during the famous Easter Market season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and architecture lovers from around the world.

  • Superb – Aneta from Czech Republic – 14 July 2025 (9/10)

Perfektní lokalita, krásně minimalisticky vybaveno, všude jsme měli kousek, navíc s dětma bylo ubytování velmi pohodlné, zvlášť rozděleny ložnice a obývák s kuchyní, skvělá věc 🙂 Jen hluk z ulice tramvaji a bavicich se cizincu v rannich hodinach by mohl nekomu vadit, u nas to byl pouze manzel 🙂 Ostatni spali super. Nemam co vytknout.
