Overview

First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Apartment David O2 Arena Prague, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t expecting much from what sounded like a basic apartment rental. But this four-star property actually surprised me in the best way. The building sits in a quiet residential area that feels refreshingly removed from Prague’s tourist crowds, yet you’re still incredibly well-connected to everything that matters. There’s something reassuring about having private parking right on site (trust me, you’ll appreciate this if you’re driving in Prague), and the whole setup feels more like staying in a well-appointed local neighborhood than a typical hotel district.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re practically next door to the O2 Arena, which means if you’re catching a concert or event, you can literally walk there in minutes. But beyond that, the area gives you this authentic Prague residential vibe that most tourists never experience. The nearby Černý Most metro station connects you directly to the city center in about 20 minutes, and honestly, it’s kind of nice to escape back to this quieter corner after a day of sightseeing. I noticed plenty of local cafés and shops within walking distance, plus a shopping center that’s actually useful for picking up essentials or grabbing a quick meal.

The Apartment Experience

The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s well-designed flat than a standard hotel room. Everything’s thoughtfully laid out with modern furnishings that actually look good — not just functional hotel furniture. The kitchenette setup is genuinely useful if you want to prepare simple meals or just store some groceries, which I found myself doing more than expected. What struck me most was how quiet everything was; these residential buildings have solid construction, so you’re not hearing every footstep from upstairs or conversation in the hallway.

Getting Around Prague

You know what’s great about staying here? You get the best of both worlds — easy access to Prague’s center when you want it, but you’re staying somewhere that feels like real Prague, not tourist Prague. The metro connection is honestly seamless, and I found myself exploring different neighborhoods along the way. If you’re renting a car, having that guaranteed parking spot removes a major headache that comes with staying in the historic center. Plus, you’re positioned perfectly for day trips outside the city since you can easily reach the highways without navigating through Prague’s sometimes confusing old town streets.

Why Guests Love It

After spending time here, I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about having your own space in a real Prague neighborhood rather than being surrounded by tour groups in a traditional hotel. The combination of modern comfort, local atmosphere, and practical amenities like that parking situation just works really well. It’s the kind of place where you can live like a local for a few days while still having all the conveniences you need as a traveler. Honestly, it made me rethink the whole apartment-style accommodation thing — sometimes it’s exactly what you didn’t know you wanted.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Prague through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich medieval heritage.

The flat was very clean and had almost everything needed.

What could be improved: No "didn't like" but a bottle of water and a multi charging cable in the flat "would be very nice".
