Allure Hotel & Residence Prague Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to the Allure Hotel on Bílkova Street – it’s tucked into this quiet corner of Prague’s Old Town that most tourists just rush past on their way to the astronomical clock. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones hiding in plain sight. The building itself has that understated elegance that Prague does so well, where centuries-old architecture gets this subtle modern refresh without losing its soul.
What really got me was how the staff actually seemed to care about the details that matter when you’re jet-lagged and just want things to work smoothly. Check-in was refreshingly quick (none of that “let me just find your reservation” dance), and they had genuine recommendations for places nearby – not just the tourist traps everyone suggests. The rooms hit that sweet spot between feeling luxurious and actually livable, with proper blackout curtains that’ll save you from Prague’s surprisingly bright summer mornings. I mean, the bathrooms alone are worth mentioning – spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything, with water pressure that actually works. Small thing, but you notice it when so many European hotels get this wrong.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the heart of things without the constant crowds. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from Wenceslas Square, but Bílkova Street itself stays relatively quiet – even during peak tourist season in July and August. There’s this little café around the corner that locals actually go to (not just hotel guests), and you can walk to Charles Bridge without fighting through the main tourist streams if you know the side streets. Parking can be tricky in this part of town, but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. The whole area comes alive in the evenings when the day-trippers head back to their tour buses, and you get this authentic Prague vibe that’s harder to find near the main squares. With a 9.6 rating, they’re clearly doing something right – and after staying there, I get why people keep coming back.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

Denis from Russia – 7 December 2024 (10/10)
Obviously recently renovated property in the excellent location
Very efficient staff and friendly bar tender, the bar itself is very cosy
Rooms are enough spacious, beds comfortable, huge TV
Clean nice bathroom, same goes for room itself and all the public areas
What could be improved: Minor thing towel dryer in our room went down, or possibly i did not switch it on right, informed the reception, but it was not fixed, anyway did not cause much inconvenience though it remained coldMohammed from United Arab Emirates – 31 March 2025 (10/10)

Location brilliant, close to the Old Town but in a quiet street only a 10 mins walk to main square.
Excellent Breakfast choices, in the basement and does get busy at the weekend. But staff very accommodating in getting everyone seated as soon as possible
All staff very pleasant.
Especially front desk. Excellent restaurants recommendations and help with directions wherever needed.David from Cyprus – 31 March 2025 (9/10)
Definitely recommend this hotel.
What could be improved: The door to the bathroom was not lockable and made from "frosted" glass, This is a bit "difficult" when traveling with kids and needing privacy. Also a nightlight would be beneficial either in bathroom or bedroom.Deirdre from United Kingdom – 30 March 2025 (10/10)
