Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Žižkov Tower Suites,” I figured it was just another place trying to sound fancy by name-dropping Prague’s most controversial landmark. But actually staying on Hartigova Street? That’s when this place started making sense. You’re literally in the heart of Žižkov, which means you’re about a 15-minute walk from the city center but surrounded by the kind of authentic Prague most tourists never see.

The suites themselves are solid – nothing flashy, but they’ve got that practical European efficiency thing down. I mean, it’s a 3-star place with an 8.4 rating, so you know they’re doing something right without breaking the bank. What really got me was the neighborhood vibe. Step outside and you’ve got proper Czech pubs (not the touristy ones), late-night spots that locals actually frequent, and – here’s the thing nobody mentions – some of the best views of the city you’ll find anywhere. The Žižkov Tower might look like a communist-era rocket ship to some people, but from certain angles around here, especially at sunset, the whole city spreads out below you in this incredible way.

Parking’s actually manageable in this area (miracle in Prague, honestly), and the tram connections are fantastic – you can be at Wenceslas Square in maybe 20 minutes without dealing with the cramped metro. The street itself is pretty quiet most of the time, though weekends can get a bit lively since you’re in proper nightlife territory. Check-in was straightforward, no fuss, and the staff seemed to know their stuff about getting around the city. You know what I appreciated most? They didn’t try to oversell the place or promise things they couldn’t deliver. It’s comfortable, well-located if you want to experience Prague beyond the castle and Old Town Square, and priced like they understand you’re probably spending your money on good Czech beer and proper goulash, not inflated hotel amenities you won’t use anyway.

  The apartment is well situated in the area and 10 mins away from the centre by car. The apartment itself is great, very spacious with 2 bedrooms, 2 double beds and 2 single beds. It is also very clean.
  
  What could be improved: We only had one big and one small towel each and we had 3 nights and 4 days there. There were no extra towels available and no washing machine to wash them. What I suggest is that more towels are made available.

  Large and clean apartment in a nice neighborhood, away from the touristy crowds. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and public transport options. Check-in process was very smooth and efficient.

  Good communication with staff and possibility of early check inn and late check out. Flat was on third floor and building had elevator, which was good in terms of luggage. Size of room was good. Smoking area between the floors (no need to go downstairs). Close to bus station.
