Žižkov Cosy Studio Apartments Overview
You know what struck me first about the Žižkov Cosy Studio Apartments? The name actually delivers – these places really are cosy, in that good way where you feel settled rather than cramped. I mean, when you’re tucked away on Víta Nejedlého street in Žižkov, you’re getting a slice of Prague that most tourists completely miss, and honestly, that’s half the appeal right there.
The thing about Žižkov is it’s got this wonderfully lived-in vibe that the tourist-heavy areas like Old Town just can’t match anymore. You’ll hear Czech being spoken more than English here, which – let’s be real – makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing Prague rather than just visiting a theme park version of it. The apartments themselves have that Eastern European charm where everything’s solid and practical, but they’ve clearly put thought into making the spaces work for travelers. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (I actually cooked dinner a couple times), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I could mention. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re in a neighborhood that has plenty going on.
Getting around from here is honestly easier than I expected – the tram connections are solid, and you can walk to the city center if you don’t mind a bit of a hike through some interesting neighborhoods. But here’s the thing I wish someone had told me: stick around Žižkov for at least one evening instead of rushing off to the touristy spots. The local pubs (and I mean proper Czech pubs, not the sanitized versions) are within stumbling distance, and you’ll get beer that costs about a third of what you’d pay near Wenceslas Square. The TV Tower’s right there too – you either love that thing or hate it, but you can see it from some of the apartment windows, which is sort of amusing in a brutalist architecture way. Check-in was straightforward, no drama, and the 8.6 rating makes sense once you settle in for a day or two. It’s not luxury – it’s three stars and feels like honest three stars – but it’s got character and actually gives you a reason to explore a part of Prague that has real personality. Plus, you know, when you tell people back home you stayed in Žižkov, you sound like you knew what you were doing.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

Great location, lots of good dinner and coffee spots around, super easy check-in instructions. Kitchen had a pot and a pan, and some plates and cutlery, so there are all the essentials for homecooked meal.
What could be improved: Some things were almost out of order (kettle, shower holder, window blinds), but otherwise things were neat and clean.Exceptional – Marharyta from Spain – 14 May 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: N/AWonderful time – Kdio from Brazil – 24 March 2025 (10/10)
Location, affordability, cleanliness, and overall facilities. We had a wonderful time.
What could be improved: The magic patio with chairs and table hadn't had a cleaning for some time. I've taken the job of dusting it and spent very nice moments during the stay. Some ants are in the bathroom, but I'm sure the staff will take care of it in no time.Exceptional – Katarína from Slovakia – 7 December 2024 (10/10)
