These aren’t your typical cramped European hotel rooms either – the residences actually feel like apartments, which is perfect if you’re staying more than a couple nights or traveling with family. The décor walks this nice line between honoring the historical bones of the place and actually being comfortable to live in for a few days. I particularly loved how they’ve kept some of the original architectural details (the ceilings in some units are gorgeous) while making sure everything actually works properly – you’d be surprised how many “historic” places in Prague skimp on that part.

What really won me over, though, was the neighborhood feel of Haštalská street itself. During the day, you’ll hear locals chatting as they head to the market at Havelské Tržiště, and in the evenings it gets pleasantly quiet – no stumbling pub crawlers at 2 AM like you’d get closer to Wenceslas Square. The staff clearly knows the area well too; they pointed me toward this incredible little wine bar on Kozí street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and gave me the heads up about which tram stops to use (trust me, Prague’s public transport can be confusing at first). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that “your room isn’t ready until 4 PM” nonsense, even though I arrived mid-morning. The 4-star rating feels accurate; it’s polished and well-maintained without being stuffy or over-the-top fancy. My only minor gripe would be that some of the street-facing units can get a bit of noise from the trams in the early morning, but honestly, that’s just Prague being Prague. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s the kind of place that does everything well without any major wow factors or deal-breakers. If you’re looking for something that feels authentically Prague while still being comfortable and well-located, this is exactly what you want.
