Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about the White Swan? It’s tucked away on this tiny cobblestone street called Cihelná that honestly feels like a secret – I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Charles Bridge madness, but you’d never know it from how quiet this little corner gets, especially in the evenings when the tour groups clear out.
The whole setup is actually pretty clever because they’ve converted this old building into proper apartments rather than cramped hotel rooms, so you get real space to spread out. I’m talking actual kitchenettes where you can make coffee that doesn’t taste like cardboard, and windows that open wide enough to let in that cool Prague air (trust me, you’ll want this in summer). The decor walks this nice line between trying too hard to be boutique-y and actually succeeding – lots of warm woods and soft lighting that photographs well but also feels comfortable when you’re just lounging around in your pajamas. What really sold me though was stepping out onto Kampa Island for my morning runs – there’s this path along the Vltava that the cruise ship crowds haven’t discovered yet, and you can loop back through Petřin Park when you need a proper hill workout.
The building itself has character without being annoyingly quirky, if that makes sense. Yeah, the elevator is tiny and you’ll hear some creaking from the old floors above you, but honestly? That’s part of the charm, and the soundproofing between units is actually pretty decent. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering staff trying to upsell you on spa treatments or restaurant reservations you don’t want. The neighborhood gets properly local once you walk five minutes in any direction from the tourist trail; there’s this little grocery store on Újezd where the cashier started recognizing me after three days, and the tram connections are solid if you’re planning to venture beyond Malá Strana. I’d definitely book this place again, especially during shoulder season when Prague gets moody and atmospheric instead of packed with bachelor parties.

The location is perfect! So close to two of the bridges that bring you into the main part of town. Staying on the other side of the river was the right choice for me. So much quieter than Old Town and still less than a 10 minute walk from the square. The place was clean, bright, inviting, and the bed was comfy. And the water pressure in the shower is fantastic! I have never been to Prague before, so I feel lucky with where I picked to stay. Will try to stay there every time.
What could be improved: I have zero complaints.Rebecca from United States – 30 March 2025 (9/10)
Great, quiet location and very friendly staff. Answered the phone right away when I needed assistance with the lock box.
What could be improved: I had a hard time completing their additional forms online. But I think that's probably my fault…they were super helpful and understanding.Nina from Canada – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The reception staff were incredibly nice and helpful, making check-in a smooth and pleasant experience. The apartment itself was well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. The location is simply the best – everything you need is nearby, and it’s easy to explore the city. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Prague!

The location is good, close to the Charles Bridge and the tram/metro stop. Staffs of the apartment are nice and helpful. The kitchen and the shower room is big.
What could be improved: Our room is on the 2nd floor and the loft, so if it's not friendly for old people or people who are inconvenient to go on the staircases.Mark from Isle of Man – 21 March 2025 (9/10)
Location and very helpful staff

Great location for exploring, on the other side of Charles Bridge, in a nice, quieter area but still very close to all of the attractions.

The room is very clean and good location. Best price.
What could be improved: There’s a little bit of foul smell in the bathroom.Dimitrios from Greece – 13 February 2025 (9/10)
It was exactly what we were looking for our stay to visit Prague.
The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with all the necessary help!!
What could be improved: Maybe they could improve the black out curtains, but it's up to each one preference.🙂Natalie from Australia – 15 January 2025 (9/10)
Excellent location in the old town near the Charles bridge.
Excellent facilities. Very spacious and warm for a family of 5 .
What could be improved: Walking up several flights of stairs with our big suitcases. No lift. But that was all. It really was excellent.
