You know what surprised me most about this place? Walking up to the building on Ve Smečkách, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – the street’s pretty nondescript, just your typical Prague side street with trams rumbling by every few minutes. But once you’re inside, it’s actually got this really sleek, modern vibe that feels way more upscale than the exterior suggests. The apartment itself is spacious (and I mean genuinely spacious, not that cramped European “cozy” you sometimes get), with these huge windows that let in tons of light during the day.

The location thing is kind of genius, actually. Everyone talks about staying right on Wenceslas Square, but honestly? That can get pretty touristy and loud, especially on weekend nights when the bars are going full swing. Being just off Ve Smečkách means you’re literally a three-minute walk to all that action, but you can actually sleep at night without hearing drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. Plus – and this is something I only figured out after wandering around – you’re super close to some of the better local spots that aren’t completely overrun. There’s this little café around the corner that does proper Czech breakfast, and the tram connections are ridiculous – you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without much hassle. I mean, the 11 tram literally stops right there and takes you straight to the castle district.

What really sold me on the place, though, was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen’s fully equipped (I’m talking real pots and pans, not those flimsy things some places give you), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The building itself is quiet – well, as quiet as central Prague gets – and the other residents seem to be a mix of locals and long-term visitors, so there’s none of that hostel chaos. Check-in was smooth too, which isn’t always a given with apartment rentals. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator’s pretty small, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, you might need to make a couple trips. But honestly, for the price point and that 8.8 rating, it makes total sense. You’re getting legitimate four-star comfort in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, positioned perfectly between the tourist must-sees and the real Prague that locals actually live in.

  Location , stylish apartment, easy accessibility, quiet, very very clean, very comfortable sofa bed, comfortable bed, great shower, toilet separate from shower room, nice coffee machine including two free capsules and bottled water. Living room /kitchen area had plenty of space. Smart TV with easy connection to personal channel. Fully functional kitchen including a new washing machine. Drying Rack and iron were included. A good grade hairdryer was provided. Fantastic place

  Very clean and spacious apartament in the city centre. Beautiful decor throughout. Nice touch of a bottle of water in the kitchen and bath robes in the bedroom.
  
  What could be improved: The curtains in the bedroom didn't close properly. No hand towel beside toilet sink and no bin or floor mat in the bathroom. The apartament could benefit from additional floor lamp in the living room.

  What could be improved: only thing i woudl say is the curtains in the bedroom aren't great – they dont pull together properly to completely block out the light – blackout blinds / thick curtains would have been better – but this was a tiny nigggle – other than that the appartment is really well appointed – design led – very smart

  very good localization – incredible National Museum just 5 minutes walk from the place, lot of other attractions are short walk away – its hard to be more in city centre then this

  What could be improved: on the booking site that was information that "keys will be handed to me by someone in place" which was not true (there was key box)
  there is a door on a staircase, that requires key to open (can't be open by intercom), if you are not planning to spend entire time together, its very inconvenient (someone needs to go down and open it with key each time)
