Plus – and this is something I only figured out after wandering around – you’re super close to some of the better local spots that aren’t completely overrun. There’s this little café around the corner that does proper Czech breakfast, and the tram connections are ridiculous – you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without much hassle. I mean, the 11 tram literally stops right there and takes you straight to the castle district.

What really sold me on the place, though, was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen’s fully equipped (I’m talking real pots and pans, not those flimsy things some places give you), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The building itself is quiet – well, as quiet as central Prague gets – and the other residents seem to be a mix of locals and long-term visitors, so there’s none of that hostel chaos. Check-in was smooth too, which isn’t always a given with apartment rentals. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator’s pretty small, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, you might need to make a couple trips. But honestly, for the price point and that 8.8 rating, it makes total sense. You’re getting legitimate four-star comfort in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, positioned perfectly between the tourist must-sees and the real Prague that locals actually live in.
