This place sits right on Wenceslas Square, which honestly feels a bit touristy at street level with all the souvenir shops and chain restaurants, but once you’re on those upper floors, everything changes. The rooftop situation here is actually legit, not just some marketing gimmick. From up there, you’re looking out over the whole historic center, and on clear mornings you can see all the way to Prague Castle without craning your neck like you’re doing yoga.

The suites themselves feel more like temporary apartments than hotel rooms – there’s actual counter space in the kitchenette (rare in European hotels, trust me), and the beds are these massive things that don’t feel like they came from a hotel supply catalog. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and while the square gets pretty rowdy on weekend nights – you’ll hear some of it even on higher floors – by Tuesday morning it’s almost peaceful. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, too. When I asked about getting to Vinohrady for dinner, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward the metro; he told me which tram would drop me closer to the good wine bars on Korunní street.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how it handles that tricky balance between being central and being livable. Sure, you’re literally on the most famous square in Prague, but there’s a Tesco just around the corner on Štěpánská if you want to grab breakfast stuff, and the actual good coffee spots – not the tourist traps – are within a five-minute walk if you know where to look. The Adrez folks seem to get that travelers want to feel like they’re staying somewhere special without dealing with all the hassles that usually come with prime locations. Parking’s still Prague-level complicated (I mean, it’s the city center), but they’ll sort out arrangements with nearby garages, and honestly, you won’t need a car anyway. The metro entrance is right there, and most of what you came to Prague for is walkable from here – just maybe not in heels on those cobblestones.
