Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about VN3 Terraces? It’s actually right on Wenceslas Square – like, literally on it – but somehow manages to feel tucked away from all the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re basically staying at one of the most famous addresses in Prague, but the entrance is subtle enough that you won’t have crowds of selfie-stick wielding tourists blocking your way every morning.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive for a 4-star place. They’ve got this modern-meets-historic thing going on that doesn’t feel forced – you know how some Prague hotels try too hard with the whole “centuries of history” angle? This place just lets the bones of the building speak for themselves while giving you proper modern amenities. The terraces (hence the name, obviously) are legit, though I’d skip them in winter unless you’re into that whole frozen-wine-glass aesthetic. What really sold me was the space – these aren’t your typical cramped European hotel rooms where you’re doing yoga moves just to open your suitcase. You actually have room to breathe, which is rare in this part of the city.

Location-wise, you’re going to love how walkable everything is. The metro station is right there – Muzeum and Můstek are both basically at your doorstep – so you can easily hop over to Vinohrady for dinner or catch the tram up to the castle without dealing with taxis. And here’s something the booking sites won’t tell you: you’re close enough to the good stuff on Národní Street and around Bethlehem Square, but far enough from the beer bike routes that you won’t be dealing with drunk groups singing at 2 AM. Well, mostly anyway – it’s still central Prague, so weekend nights can get a bit lively, but nothing earplugs can’t handle. The rating of 8.8 honestly feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it nails all the important stuff without any major disappointments. If you’re the type who wants to be in the thick of things but still have a proper place to retreat to, this works really well.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Prague through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich medieval heritage.
