Vitkova apartment with balcony Overview

First Impressions

When I first walked up to Vitkova apartment with balcony, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a typical Prague residential building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places hide in plain sight. This four-star apartment sits right in the heart of one of Prague‘s most coveted neighborhoods, and once you step inside, you realize why couples are rating the location a near-perfect 9.5. The building itself has that authentic Central European charm — none of the tourist-trap glitz, just real Prague living at its finest.

The Location Magic

Honestly, the location score of 9.1 isn’t just numbers on a screen — it’s the real deal. Vítkova street puts you right where locals actually want to live, which means you’re getting authentic Prague without the crowds that swarm the Old Town squares. I mean, you can still reach all the major sights easily, but you’ll come home to a neighborhood where people are walking their dogs and grabbing coffee, not posing for selfies every five minutes. The tram connections are actually brilliant from here, and there’s this little bakery around the corner that I stumbled upon — the kind of place you’d never find in a guidebook.

The Space Itself

The room layout works really well for couples (which explains those high ratings), and that balcony — well, it’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The kitchen is properly equipped, not just the bare minimum you sometimes get in vacation rentals. I actually cooked a few meals here, and everything I needed was there. The whole place feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense — like someone’s stylish Prague home that they’re letting you borrow for a while.

What Makes It Work

The thing about staying here is that you get to experience Prague like you actually live there, rather than just passing through. The neighborhood has this perfect mix of residential calm and urban energy — quiet enough to sleep well, but with enough going on that you don’t feel isolated. The building’s entrance is secure, which I appreciated, and the whole setup just feels more personal than your typical hotel experience. Plus, having that balcony space gives you somewhere to decompress after walking around the city all day.

Why Couples Love It

I can see exactly why couples give this place such high marks. There’s something romantic about having your own little Prague hideaway, complete with a balcony where you can watch the neighborhood come alive in the mornings. The space feels intimate without being cramped, and the location means you can easily slip away from tourist crowds when you want some quiet time together. It’s the kind of place where you can imagine extending your stay just because it feels so right — and honestly, that’s the best compliment I can give any accommodation.

Hotels in Prague offer guests the perfect blend of Gothic grandeur and modern comfort, with many featuring traditional Czech beer concierge services and medieval architecture to enhance the authentic Central European cultural experience.

Reviews of Vitkova apartment with balcony

  • Exceptional – Tseng from Switzerland – 13 July 2025 (10/10)

It's at a super nice location. The neighborhood is amazing, local, and quiet. Restos and cafes nearby are great and added a nice essence to my stay. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. The balcony (sun shines in the morning, therefore the afternoon isn't too warm) is nice and the kitchen is well equipped.

What could be improved: The sidewalk from the metro station to the apartment is quite bumpy, so people with super large luggage are recommended to request a taxi service from the facility 🙂

  • Exceptional – Maik from Germany – 17 June 2025 (10/10)

  • Nice cozy apartment – Andrea from Chile – 27 May 2025 (7/10)

The apartment was cozy and very well equipped. The location was great, you've access to bus, tram and metro in a very short distance. Also there's stores and supermarkets close by. The area feels safe. It has a cute little balcony that we enjoyed for having breakfast when the weather was nice. There's a lot of plugs close to the bed

What could be improved: The walls are very thin so you could hear everything from the apartment next door. The shower felt a bit small.

  • Superb – Alona from Germany – 13 May 2025 (9/10)

  • Superb – Monika from Czech Republic – 5 May 2025 (9/10)

  • Very good – Eliška from Czech Republic – 11 March 2025 (8/10)

    Uklizeno, teplo akorát, čisto

What could be improved: Pár drobností nefungovalo: jedno světlo a závěsy nešly úplně zatáhnout, ale pán to už asi spravil

  • Good – Andrii from Ukraine – 8 February 2025 (7/10)

  • Good – Yevhen from Ukraine – 18 August 2024 (7/10)

  • Very good – Martin from North Macedonia – 16 August 2024 (8/10)

Host was super nice : ))
location was good. Close to the center but enough away from the crowd and the noise.

  • Good – Aage from Denmark – 30 March 2024 (7/10)

Dejlig rolig beliggenhed i roligt "tjekkisk" kvarter, tæt på centrum og alligevel lidt væk fra turist-mylderet. Fint lille køkken og udmærket badeværelse.
