Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of Prague apartments over the years, and Vincanto on Klimentská really gets it right. The moment you walk into these converted Old Town spaces, you can tell someone actually thought about how people live – not just where tourists sleep for a night. The apartments have that perfect balance of historical character (we’re talking genuine period details, thick walls that actually keep the noise out) and modern functionality that doesn’t feel forced or corporate.

What honestly surprised me most was the location. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Powder Tower, but Klimentská itself is this lovely residential street that locals actually use. You know what I mean? It’s not one of those tourist corridors where every ground floor is a souvenir shop and the only people you see are holding selfie sticks. In the mornings, you’ll hear Czech conversations from the café downstairs, and there’s something really authentic about grabbing your coffee alongside people heading to actual jobs instead of tour buses. The Old Town Square crowds feel manageable when you can duck back to this quiet stretch – and honestly, after a long day of castle visits and beer halls, that matters more than you’d think.

The apartments themselves feel properly lived-in rather than hotel sterile. Each one’s a bit different (I stayed in what used to be part of a larger 19th-century building), but they’ve all got these great kitchen setups that make you want to hit the local markets. There’s actually decent counter space and real wine glasses, not plastic cups – small things, but they add up. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you experience the details: proper blackout curtains for those bright summer mornings, heating that responds quickly during shoulder season, and – this was clutch – reliable wifi that worked throughout the space, not just near the router. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no hovering in a lobby hoping your room’s ready. They seem to understand that people arrive at all hours and just want to settle in without drama.

  Very responsive host! Helped with checking in a little earlier, to match our plans. The place is in a very good location, very close to the city center. Clean rooms with plenty of space. There is also an elevator if needed.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing that we didn't like. We've spent a very good weekend there and the only minor personal issue is that the pillows are too hard for me 🙂 But that is purely personal. None of my friends had issues as well.

  We were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the apartment. We found it very spacious to relax in after a long day’s sightseeing. The location in the city of Prague could not have been better too.
  
  What could be improved: The only improvement I would make would be to put a non-slip mat in the bath.

  Exceptional value for the price in old town. Walking distance to main shopping area & heaps of cool bars and restaurants around. The property was clean, everything was new and it was very cosy.

  The place is very well located, just 15 minutes walk from the old city square. The apartments are very large and nothing is missing, soap, coffee maker, dishwasher tablets…Simon greeted us upon arrival and was an excellent host. They didn't give us any problem leaving our suitcases, both before check-in and after check-out. We forgot to buy detergent to use the washing machine and they provided it to us in less than 5 minutes. Without a doubt it was a good decision to stay here, if we return to Prague we already know where we will go

  The location is excellent! It’s about a 10/15 min walk from most things you will want to see and lots of restaurants.
  There’s also a metro station very close but we only used this to get to and from the airport.
  The self check in instructions are clear with pictures to help. The staff were lovely and very helpful with tips on where to go.
  
  What could be improved: Only thing is the double bed is two singles put together and are on wheels so they come apart very easily during the night

  Very spacious apartment. Clean, bright. Warm. Everything we needed in kitchen supplied including cooker, microwave wave, toaster , coffee machine etc. Staff very helpful. We were able to leave our bags in store room for a while after checking out which was very convenient.
