Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Victory Deluxe Suite on Masarykovo nábřeží, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star place. But you know what? Sometimes these smaller properties surprise you, and this one actually did in a few ways.

The location is really what sells it. You’re literally right on the embankment overlooking the Vltava, which means you can walk to Old Town in maybe 10 minutes without dealing with the tourist crush that hits Wenceslas Square. I mean, you’re close enough to everything that matters – the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, all that – but far enough from the main drag that you’re not hearing drunk bachelor parties at 2 AM. The tram stop is right there too, which honestly saved me so much hassle getting around the city. Plus (and this might sound weird but it matters), there’s actually decent coffee shops within a block or two, not just tourist trap cafés charging €8 for espresso.

The suites themselves are… well, they’re solid. Nothing groundbreaking, but the rooms are genuinely spacious – I’m talking actual separate living areas, not just a couch shoved in the corner of a regular hotel room. The décor is sort of that modern European style that doesn’t offend anyone, though I wish they’d leaned into some Czech character instead of playing it so safe. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you’re in the city center. The windows actually block out street noise pretty well. Check-in was smooth enough, though the front desk staff’s English gets a bit spotty during busy periods – not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind if you’re not great with gestures and Google Translate. Oh, and parking – yeah, you’ll pay for it, but at least they have spots available, which is more than I can say for half the places I looked at in Prague.

Here’s the thing about the Victory Deluxe Suite: it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does what it promises without any major headaches. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s comfortable, the location works really well for exploring Prague on foot, and you’re not paying those insane prices you get closer to the castle or right on Charles Bridge. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend most of my time wandering around the city rather than lounging in the hotel. Just don’t expect any Instagram-worthy moments in the lobby or anything like that.

  Great location, clean apartment, plenty of room. The sheets were clean, and so were the towels. The kitchen had few utensils, but all the absolute necessities were there.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet didn't work properly, it kept flushing unless the valve was turned off. Plus, we had to ask for the actual address of the apartment as it is different from the one in the offer. Also, we had to wait before someone came with the keys even though we wrote in advance when we will be arriving.

  In our case it was fair deal.
  We looked for a large apartment close to a city center for 7 people. And we got it.
  The apartment isn't ideal but considering the advantages (mainly enough space for a big family), this is a fair choice that deserves 10.
  
  However, there is room for improvement such as the host should consider replacing the door with transparent glass with a normal one to ensure privacy and the room is isolated.
  Overall, everything was okay. They even left fruits, sweets, and a bottle of wine for us.
  
  Pay attention, that the apartment is situated in a different place to that difined on Google map. Just dirrectly on the opposite bank of the river.

  What could be improved: – Location of apartment was in different location than on Booking.
  – Poor contact with staff on check in: I have address of new location without apartment number, I have 3 numbers of staff but only one person wait for me in new location which doesn’t speak English. It took me around 2 hours to find the new location. During that time 12 of my friend wait in original location with young child (7 years)
  – We had one toilet and one bathroom instead of 2 bathrooms which was in Booking description.

  Die Wohnung war groß und gut ausgestattet. Kommunikation war auch gut und schnell.
  
  What could be improved: Es war zwar schön groß aber man merkt dass die Wohnung alt ist, unter luxuriös versteht man was anderes. Aber trotzdem Preis Leistung und für 2 Tage war es schon ok.
