Location

The hotel stands opposite the Old Town Hall and its Astronomical Clock, close to the Týn Church. Old Town Square is about 2 minutes on foot and the Astronomical Clock about 3 minutes. Wenceslas Square is about 6 minutes away and Charles Bridge about 11 minutes. Náměstí Republiky metro station, on line B (yellow), is about 6 minutes on foot, and the Dlouhá třída stop about 8 minutes. Václav Havel Airport is roughly 45 minutes by car.

The property

The 29 rooms are spread over four floors served by a glass lift, and rooms have air conditioning. The Ventana Bar sits in the building’s atrium, and a library doubles as a reading room and small meeting space. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, and a buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:00 to 11:00. Parking is off site, nearby, for CZK 750 per night.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful concierge staff. Good breakfast, and a packed breakfast provided for us when we left early on our last day. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with some complementary pastries provided in the lobby.

What could be improved: The bedroom walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbours. Lighting controls were a little eccentric!

Location was perfect right on the square and stunning views. Old style elaborate architecture combined with the modern clean fresh style of the bedroom and bathroom was beautiful.
Friendly helpful staff, extra touches like the wide ranging breakfast options including champagne or mimosa if you fancied it.

What could be improved: Nothing not to like. Reception and restaurant areas could benefit from some refresh in the decor.
