I loved being able to duck into Lucerna Passage for coffee in the morning, and you know what? The tram connections are incredible. Line 11 basically takes you anywhere you want to go, and the Muzeum metro station is right there when you need to get across town fast.

What really got me was how these apartments feel like… well, actual apartments. The kitchenette in mine wasn’t just for show – I actually used it, grabbed groceries from the Tesco around the corner, and had breakfast while looking out at the bustling street below. The space felt lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. Sure, it’s only rated 3 stars technically, but that 9.1 rating from other guests? Yeah, I get it completely. The WiFi was solid (worked great for video calls back home), the shower had proper pressure, and honestly the bed was more comfortable than some 5-star places I’ve stayed.

The building itself has this nice old Prague character – you walk through one of those classic arched doorways that are everywhere in New Town, but then everything inside feels modern and well-maintained. Check-in was refreshingly simple too, none of that standing-in-line-at-reception nonsense. I will say the street can get a bit lively on weekend nights – you’re in the heart of Prague after all – but it never felt unsafe, just… energetic. During the week it actually gets pretty quiet after 10 PM. The neighborhood has this great mix of business people heading to work, students from Charles University, and yeah, tourists like me, but it doesn’t feel overrun.

I mean, if you’re looking for a place where someone brings you fresh towels twice a day and asks about your restaurant preferences, this probably isn’t it. But if you want to feel like you’re actually living in Prague for a few days, with all the freedom that comes with having your own space right in the center of everything? TurnKey nailed it. I’m already thinking about booking again for my next Prague trip – and trust me, that’s not something I say lightly.
