Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Washingtonova, I thought I’d be stuck on some busy throughway dealing with traffic noise all night. But here’s the thing about TurnKey’s Wenceslas Square spot: you’re actually tucked just far enough off the main drag that you get the best of both worlds. I mean, you can literally walk to the bottom of Wenceslas Square in about three minutes (I timed it), but you’re not dealing with the drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM.

The apartments themselves? Well, they’re not going to win any design awards, but honestly, that’s sort of refreshing. These feel like actual Prague apartments – you know, the kind locals might live in – rather than some sterile hotel room with generic art on the walls. The kitchenettes are properly functional (I actually cooked breakfast most mornings), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night. I was expecting city noise, but the courtyard-facing rooms are surprisingly peaceful. The only sounds you’ll hear are the occasional tram rumbling by on Národní, which honestly becomes kind of soothing after a day or two.

Here’s what the booking sites won’t tell you: the real magic is in the location details. You’re a five-minute walk from Můstek metro station, which connects you to both lines A and B – crucial if you want to hit Vinohrady or cross over to Malá Strana without the tourist shuffle through Old Town. Plus, there’s this little Vietnamese place called Sapa around the corner that serves ridiculous pho for about 120 crowns. The staff at TurnKey actually knows the neighborhood – when I asked about laundry, they didn’t just point to some expensive hotel service but told me about the laundrette on Spálená that locals use. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that corporate rigmarole where they try to upsell you on breakfast packages you don’t need. They handed me the keys, gave me their card with a direct number (not some call center), and that was it. The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not fancy, but everything works exactly as it should, and you feel like you’re living in Prague rather than just visiting it.

  Excellent location, convenient access, clean, tidy, well furnished.
  
  The "upstairs" was a good experience for the kids.
  
  What could be improved: The stairs (cabinets) are quite steep and narrow. It could be somewhat dangerous for small children, especially at night. We didn't have any issue with it, but there is a potential of a fall

  Centrally located fully equipped nice and clean. We only arrived by 23:30 and left by 10:00 so not much good or bad to find out…
  
  What could be improved: I found the exact timing of 10:00 for the entry codes to expire a little stingy, but it was fully in line with description and contract so no real complaint here.

  Excellent location. Nice apartment, it had everything we needed. Even know the apartment windows are to the street it was quite.
  
  What could be improved: Just minor things: the max temperature in rooms was 22C, that was too cold for me since I like light clothing indoors, my kids complained about being cold as well🙈 And the smell of the soap was horrible (smelled like lemony bathroom air freshener)…I would suggest to use something more neutral.

  The staff answers fast and is friendly, has everything, cozy and clean. Most importantly the location is super close to the center and the train station making it easy for the travelers.

  The apartment deserves 5 stars if it were to categorize the apartment as a hotel. Everything was clean, tidy, new, warm. Kitchen equipment at a high level. The comfort of the bed is superb. Communication with management rated 10. In any case, a place that deserves a 10 for its price and quality and to which I will gladly return. The location of the apartment itself is excellent because you are close to all three metro lines. There are also trams which I would highly recommend for seeing the city if you can't walk much. €5 day ticket for all types of transport is more than affordable!

  Staying in TurnKey apartments in center of Prague was great, comfortable and practical because of its great location. Clean apartment, well equipped, friendly and nice staff. Also I wanna put accent on fresh and beautiful smelling towels which reminds of being washed at home.
