TurnKey I Vintage Terrace Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to TurnKey I Vintage Terrace Apartment on Opatovická street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Prague” feeling. This four-star property sits right in the heart of the old city, and honestly, the location is pretty much perfect — there’s a reason it scores 9.5 for location. The building itself has that classic Central European charm you’re hoping for, with beautiful period details that make you feel like you’ve stepped into old Prague rather than some generic hotel chain.

The Heart of Prague

What I love about this spot is that you’re genuinely in the center of everything without being on some touristy strip that feels artificial. You can walk to Old Town Square in about five minutes, but you’re also surrounded by the kind of local cafés and shops that actual Prague residents use. The Wenceslas Square area is right there, and you know what — having that private parking available is actually a huge deal in this part of the city. Most places around here don’t offer that, so if you’re driving, you’ll appreciate not having to hunt for street parking or pay those steep garage fees.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself feels authentically vintage but with all the modern touches you actually need. I mean, it has character with updated amenities that work properly. The space is thoughtfully laid out, and you get that sense of staying in a real Prague home rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room. The terrace (which is right there in the name) gives you a nice outdoor space to have your morning coffee or evening wine, something that’s pretty rare in this dense part of the city.

Daily Life Here

What makes this place work so well is how it fits into the rhythm of Prague. You’re close enough to everything that you don’t need to plan your day around transportation, but far enough from the main tourist crowds that you can actually relax. There are excellent local restaurants within a two-minute walk — not the tourist traps, but places where you’ll hear more Czech than English. The nearby market halls and food shops make it easy to grab supplies if you want to cook something simple, and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want after a long day of sightseeing.

Why Guests Love It

The location feedback really tells the story here — couples rate it 9.6 for a reason. It’s romantic without being overly precious about it, and you get that authentic Prague experience that’s harder to find these days. You’re staying in a real neighborhood where people actually live, work, and hang out, but you’re also steps away from all the major sights. The combination of genuine local character, modern comfort, and that unbeatable central location makes this one of those places you’ll remember long after you’ve left Prague.

Reviews of TurnKey I Vintage Terrace Apartment

  • Exceptional – Ozcan from Turkey – 25 July 2025 (10/10)

    Herşey düşünülmüştü

  • unique location – Farshad from Germany – 27 June 2025 (10/10)

the location is the best, you in heart of Prague old town and in 5-10 minutes walk you can reach one of the amazing Prague attraction.

What could be improved: beds are not super comfy for long stay, but for one or two night, they are okay.

  • Pleasant stay, average apartment with decent facilities. Would use Turnkey again in the future – Pauline from United Kingdom – 18 April 2025 (7/10)

Good location, clean, had what we needed ie toilet roll, toiletries, kitchen, hairdryer, toaster etc

What could be improved: Paintwork/tiling a bit grubby, no air conditioning. Quite a lot of noise from street venues at night and noisy with deliveries etc in the mornings

  • Great time – James from United States – 1 April 2025 (9/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Bathtub was to slippery, need anti-slid

  • Superb – Aleksei from Latvia – 29 December 2024 (9/10)

    Location, nice atmosphere.

What could be improved: All good

  • Comfortable stay – Mary from Canada – 17 June 2024 (9/10)

It is spacious, has an equipped kitchen with some coffee, tea and treats, water and a bottle of wine. Has an elevator if you get the upper apartments. Location is great, was close to the places and attractions that we wanted to see. Nice view in the terrace but very narrow. Has a washing machine.

What could be improved: The lay-out of the apartment. I think it was previously a one bed-room apartment. When you enter there is the separate shower and bathroom, then the bedroom with a sliding door separating the next area where the sofa bed and a single bed was located. The kitchen is tucked at the back. So if the occupants of the other room needs to go to the bathroom they have to go through the first bedroom.

  • Responsive hosts, – Matthijs from Belgium – 22 April 2024 (8/10)

Good homebase area, very friendly and responsive hosts.

What could be improved: Personally think it’s a bit on the high-end price.
Central heathing burns up and it isn’t possible to turn off.

  • Exceptional – Daniel from Israel – 18 April 2024 (10/10)

The apartment was very clean, the location is very close to the old city and walking distance to almost every thing. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • Exceptional – Simone from Germany – 8 October 2023 (10/10)

Very helpful and nice people at turnkey!
The apartment is big enough for more than two people (two double beds).
There are so many restaurants nearby, we did not know which one to visit.
    Great experience!

  • enjoyable stay and very close to the city sights. – Darren from United Kingdom – 11 June 2023 (9/10)

great location, very easy check in. comfortable apartment.

What could be improved: nothing to note.
