Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about TurnKey’s Vintage Terrace Apartment? The moment I walked into this place on Opatovická, I actually felt like I was staying in someone’s carefully curated Prague home rather than another cookie-cutter rental. The building itself has that authentic Habsburg-era charm you see all over Nové Město, but inside – well, they’ve really nailed that sweet spot between vintage character and modern comfort. The terrace (which, honestly, is what sold me on booking this place) overlooks these gorgeous Prague rooftops, and in the evenings you can hear the gentle hum of the city without feeling like you’re camping next to a construction site. I mean, it’s a 4-star property with an 8.5 rating for good reason – the attention to detail is pretty impressive.
What really sets this apartment apart is its location on Opatovička street. You’re basically a five-minute walk from Národní třída, which puts you right in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos around Old Town Square. I loved that I could grab fresh bread from the local bakery just down the street in the mornings, then easily walk to Wenceslas Square or catch a tram to the castle district. The apartment itself feels spacious – and I say this as someone who’s stayed in plenty of cramped European city rentals. The vintage touches (original hardwood floors, period furniture that doesn’t look like it came from IKEA) give it character, while the updated kitchen and bathroom show they actually care about guest comfort. Pro tip: if you’re visiting during summer, that terrace becomes your personal oasis around sunset – I spent way more time out there with a bottle of Czech wine than I initially planned.
The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward “meet us at a random corner with exact change” situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The hosts clearly know their stuff, and they left these thoughtful local recommendations that actually felt genuine rather than sponsored. Honestly, the only minor downside is that the building’s entrance is a bit tricky to spot if you’re arriving after dark (typical old Prague building thing), but once you’re inside, you’ll appreciate why this place consistently gets such solid reviews. If you’re looking for authentic Prague living with modern conveniences and don’t want to sacrifice location for character, this vintage terrace apartment delivers exactly what it promises.

unique location – Farshad from Germany – 27 June 2025 (10/10)
the location is the best, you in heart of Prague old town and in 5-10 minutes walk you can reach one of the amazing Prague attraction.
What could be improved: beds are not super comfy for long stay, but for one or two night, they are okay.Great time – James from United States – 1 April 2025 (9/10)
Location
What could be improved: Bathtub was to slippery, need anti-slidComfortable stay – Mary from Canada – 17 June 2024 (9/10)
It is spacious, has an equipped kitchen with some coffee, tea and treats, water and a bottle of wine. Has an elevator if you get the upper apartments. Location is great, was close to the places and attractions that we wanted to see. Nice view in the terrace but very narrow. Has a washing machine.
What could be improved: The lay-out of the apartment. I think it was previously a one bed-room apartment. When you enter there is the separate shower and bathroom, then the bedroom with a sliding door separating the next area where the sofa bed and a single bed was located. The kitchen is tucked at the back. So if the occupants of the other room needs to go to the bathroom they have to go through the first bedroom.Exceptional – Daniel from Israel – 18 April 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was very clean, the location is very close to the old city and walking distance to almost every thing. We really enjoyed our stay.
Exceptional – Simone from Germany – 8 October 2023 (10/10)
Very helpful and nice people at turnkey!
The apartment is big enough for more than two people (two double beds).
There are so many restaurants nearby, we did not know which one to visit.

Good location, clean, had what we needed ie toilet roll, toiletries, kitchen, hairdryer, toaster etc
What could be improved: Paintwork/tiling a bit grubby, no air conditioning. Quite a lot of noise from street venues at night and noisy with deliveries etc in the morningsSuperb – Aleksei from Latvia – 29 December 2024 (9/10)
Location, nice atmosphere.
What could be improved: All goodResponsive hosts, – Matthijs from Belgium – 22 April 2024 (8/10)
