TurnKey I Vinohrady Modern Apartments

Capital City of Prague, Czechia

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to TurnKey I Vinohrady Modern Apartments on Korunní street, you immediately get that “this is going to be good” feeling. The building sits perfectly in one of Prague’s most authentic neighborhoods — Vinohrady — where locals actually live and work, not just where tourists snap photos. This four-star property has that modern edge you want without feeling sterile or corporate, you know? There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels like a real part of the city.

The Vinohrady Advantage

Honestly, the location here is what sets this place apart. Vinohrady translates to “vineyards,” and while you won’t find grapes growing anymore, you’ll discover tree-lined streets filled with Art Nouveau buildings and genuine Prague life. The apartment puts you within walking distance of Náměstí Míru — one of the largest squares in Europe — but you’re also close enough to hop on the metro and be in Old Town in about 15 minutes. What I really appreciate is how this area comes alive in the evenings with locals heading to wine bars and bistros, giving you that authentic Prague experience most hotels can’t deliver.

Modern Living Space

The apartments themselves actually live up to that “modern” promise in the name. Each unit feels more like a well-designed city room than a typical hotel setup, with clean lines and thoughtful touches that make longer stays comfortable. The kitchen areas are properly equipped — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation — so you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook if you want. I mean, when you’re staying in a neighborhood known for its food scene, having the option to prepare your own meals or just store good Czech beer is pretty valuable.

Why Couples Choose This Spot

There’s a reason couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. The apartments offer that perfect balance of privacy and proximity — you get your own space to retreat to, but you’re surrounded by charming streets perfect for evening strolls. The nearby Riegrovy sady park is honestly one of Prague’s best-kept secrets, with a beer garden that offers stunning views over the city (locals pack this place on summer evenings). Plus, the whole Vinohrady district has this sophisticated, residential vibe that feels more intimate than staying right in the tourist center.

Why Guests Love It

What keeps people coming back here is the combination of modern comfort and authentic Prague living. You’re not just visiting the city — you’re temporarily living in it. The recent guest ratings speak for themselves, and that top location feedback isn’t just marketing speak. When you can walk to excellent restaurants, catch trams easily, and still feel like you’re experiencing real Prague rather than tourist Prague, that’s when you know you’ve found something special. The apartments give you independence while keeping you connected to everything that makes this city worth visiting in the first place.

Huge issues with our stay- but the customer service upgraded us and took care of us very well

The location was great as expected. We loved the quiet charm of the neighborhood and it was close to city center. The room is cozy and a good size for the value. The help chat whatsapp was very responsive and truly cared about the issues we experienced- we appreciated the responsiveness of turnkey overall as very pleasant.

My review is a little complex because due to the issues we experienced at this apartment, we were given a courtesy transfer to an upgraded apartment under turnkey. That apartment was located in city center and gorgeous, large, well stocked and brand new. It was a gorgeous apartment with a lot of amenities and I would recommend staying there for people still looking. It is under TurnKey apartments as well

What could be improved: Unfortunately as some of the other reviews have mentioned, we had no hot water at this apartment. We arrived late at night and could not get any hot water to run from the shower, sinks or anything. There is a sign that said wait 30 minutes for water to heat up but after hours of trying we were very tired and slept without showering. In the morning I had messaged the help desk and was asked if hot water was running - and it was not. Maintenance would not come until 3PM the next day (after promising they would come at 11 am, then 1pm, finally 3pm) so my partner and I had to try and take cold showers. I could not wash my head with cold water so I ended up boiling hot water and using that to get slightly clean. It was honestly a really frustrating and unacceptable experience.

There is no AC at the apartment which is fine/written into this booking but there were fans promised to be at the apartment and there were not any. The coffee machine was also broken.

Maintenance identified that the hot water boiler was broken overall and needed to get replaced- so they initiated a taxi for us to move into an upgraded apartment in the city center. Though this apartment was beautiful, the rest of the building was still under construction so extremely loud drilling started at 8-9AM and we were unable to go back to sleep once the construction started, which in addition to the earlier issues made our entire trip extremely sleepless and tiring. Overall I still loved our new apartment and the kindness of our host. We still loved our Prague trip.

In a nutshell, it's not only a place to visit, but one that we will return to in the future.

If you're planning a city break in Prague, look no further. We found everything we needed for a base camp to explore the city.

Firstly, the location. If you are a walking type of person, the city centre is just half an hour away. If you are not, the metro will take you there. If you're into escalators, try Namesti Miru and enjoy a ride that lasts over two minutes. Yet, if you decide to walk, be aware that coming back can be taxing. Vinohrady is located on a hill, and the ascent may be tiring. If you decide to walk down Vinohrady Street, you will find some nice places to eat.

Secondly, the place itself. We found exactly what was detailed in the offer, i.e., a nice kitchen with a microwave oven, induction plate, an electric kettle, and, last but definitely not least, a portafilter machine.
The bathroom, likewise, had everything we needed, including toiletries, fresh towels, and a working shower. The beds are comfortable (in my opinion), and the bed linens were crisp and fresh. There were no dust bunnies under the bed, and the floor was impeccably clean.
There is wifi which works, and a TV to kill time.
In general, the place made an excellen and lasting impression on us.

Thirdly, the Team's hospitality. As we entered, we found a bottle of wine, chocolates, a handwritten welcome card, and mineral water that someone had thoughtfully put into the fridge. You could say these are small things, but small things matter, and for me, it was a heart-stealer.

Fourthly, the convenience. From booking to check-out, the entire process was as smooth as you could dream.
We had no reason to contact the Team, which makes it a bittersweet experience. On the one hand, it means the stay was perfect. On the other hand, we couldn't tell them in person how fantastic a job they are doing.

Fifthly, the price-quality ratio. The offer seemed a bit too good to be true for the price, and I was a bit skeptical, but all in all, they delivered on their promise. Kudos to them.
