Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Prague, and TurnKey I Premium Apartment honestly surprised me – in the best way possible. It’s tucked on Dlážděná street, which I’ll be honest, I had to ask for directions to find the first time (it’s one of those charming cobblestone side streets that GPS sort of gives up on). But here’s the thing – once you figure out where it is, you realize you’ve hit the jackpot location-wise. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Old Town Square, but somehow you’ve escaped all the tourist chaos and those guys in medieval costumes trying to sell you dinner shows.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, you know? Not in a “hasn’t been cleaned” way, but in that rare way where everything works and makes sense. The heating actually heats (crucial for Prague winters, trust me), the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s real coffee in the kitchen – not those sad instant packets you usually get. I mean, it’s got that 4-star polish without feeling sterile. The windows are thick enough that you won’t hear the early morning trams, which is honestly a miracle in this part of the city. The bed situation is solid too – I’m picky about mattresses and actually slept well, which almost never happens on the first night somewhere new.

What really sold me though was the little stuff nobody thinks to mention. There’s enough space to actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two, decent lighting for reading (why is this so rare?), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like half the places I’ve tried around here. The neighborhood has this great morning energy – you’ll hear locals heading to work, the smell of fresh bread from the bakery around the corner on Celetná, and if you’re up early enough, you can grab coffee at the little place two blocks down before the tour groups discover it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no waiting around in some cramped lobby, just clear instructions and someone who actually answered their phone when I got turned around looking for the entrance. Honestly, with a 9.5 rating, I was expecting to find something wrong, some catch that explained why it wasn’t perfect. But after three stays now – well, I keep booking it when I’m back in Prague, which probably tells you everything you need to know.

  Excellent location, easily walkable from the main station, or even the main bus station, and with trams all around to get you anywhere you want to be in Prague. The building is renovated to a lovely standard, the apartment is tastefully decorated and more than spacious enough for 3 people. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms large, and location is quiet enough away from the drunken late night hordes closer in the old town. I had 3 of the best nights of sleep I’ve had for a while. Communication was great, early check-in was made possible for us, and tips for cafés and other sights were appreciated. Would definitely stay with TurnKey in the future when visiting Prague.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing. If I really had to nitpick, I would have maybe liked a bit more dim, mood lighting for the evenings, I found the temperature of lights a little too “cold” or bright in the lounge/kitchen area.
