Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Main Bus Station Apartments,” I wasn’t exactly expecting much. The name literally tells you you’re next to Prague’s central bus terminal, which sounds like a recipe for noise and chaos, right? But here’s the thing about TurnKey I that actually surprised me: they’ve somehow managed to create this little oasis of calm right in the thick of things on Prvního pluku street.

The apartments themselves are way nicer than you’d expect from the somewhat industrial-sounding name. I mean, we’re talking proper 4-star quality here – clean lines, modern kitchenettes that actually work (you know how rare that is in some Prague rentals), and honestly, the soundproofing is pretty impressive considering you’re literally steps from Florenc station. You can hear the occasional rumble if you really listen for it, but it’s more of a gentle urban hum than anything disruptive. The 9-point rating starts making sense once you’re inside – these aren’t just crash pads for budget travelers passing through.

What I really appreciate about this spot is how ridiculously connected you are to everything without the tourist-trap pricing of Old Town. Florenc isn’t just buses – you’ve got the metro right there, so you’re maybe 10 minutes to Wenceslas Square or 15 to the castle district. But here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you: this area has some seriously good local spots. There’s this Vietnamese place around the corner that locals actually line up for, and a proper Czech pub (not the touristy kind) where you can get excellent svíčková for half what you’d pay near the Charles Bridge. The Billa supermarket is right there too, which is clutch when you’ve got a kitchen and want to save some crowns on breakfast.

The check-in process is smooth – they’ve got that modern keyless entry thing figured out, and the TurnKey staff actually responds to messages quickly, which… well, let’s just say that’s not always a given with apartment rentals in Prague. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this neighborhood, but honestly, with the metro access, you really don’t need a car anyway. I’d skip driving in Prague’s center if I were you – the tram drivers alone will give you nightmares.

Here’s my take: if you’re the type who wants to experience Prague like someone who actually lives here rather than just hitting the tourist checklist, this place hits that sweet spot. You’re close enough to walk to the main sights when you want to, but you’re also in a real neighborhood where people go about their daily lives. The apartments feel like temporary homes rather than hotel rooms, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city properly.

  The location was great, metro and supermarkets very close. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed.
  We really appreciated that someone answered our queries quickly.
  
  What could be improved: It was so noisy. Out of the main bedroom there was a party in the venue in the arch opposite. It went on until nearly 3 am at full volume. Thankfully that was only 1 night but there's a lot of street noise all night long. It was so hot you had to have the windows open so you couldn't shut it out.

  We really enjoyed our stay! The location is amazing, really quiet, near supermarkets and restaurants and with pretty view. The apartment was really clean. They accept cats also, but you need to pay extra (20€ for the whole stay)
  
  What could be improved: AC wasn’t working well, for us it was no problem but I wouldn’t recommend for people who don’t like sleeping in warm places. Bed was comfortable but with soft mattress.

  The terrace was big and private, great for relaxing in the sun. The location was nice and quiet, a bit far from the city center, but that was in our case a positive aspect.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, no elevator was available (or I might have missed it), so we had to climb two stories every time we went out. However, this kept us young 🙂

  Overall it was a nice apartment with every comfort for a short stay! Close to bus station and metro station, with easy access to city center.
