Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about TurnKey I Charles Square? It’s actually tucked away on Ječná Street in a way that feels properly Prague – not right in the tourist chaos, but close enough that you’re still in the thick of things. I mean, Charles Square is literally around the corner, and honestly, most visitors have no idea it’s the largest square in the city (way bigger than Old Town Square, which gets all the attention).
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms – they’re proper apartments, which makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. The spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. I particularly appreciated having a real kitchen because, let’s be honest, eating out for every meal in Prague gets expensive fast, even though the food scene is incredible. The furnishings have that modern European aesthetic without being cold – sort of minimalist but warm, with decent natural light filtering through windows that actually open properly. One thing I noticed is how quiet it stays at night, which surprised me given you’re still pretty central. The building seems well-insulated, and Ječná isn’t one of those streets where trams are clattering by at all hours.
What really works about this location is the neighborhood feel. There’s a little grocery store practically next door – not touristy, just where locals actually shop – and you’ve got that whole stretch toward Národní Street with proper Czech pubs and restaurants where you won’t see another guidebook. The New Town area here is fascinating actually; it’s where Praguers live and work, not just where they perform for visitors. Walking to Wenceslas Square takes maybe eight minutes, Old Town is a pleasant fifteen-minute stroll, and if you’re feeling lazy, the metro connections are solid. I found myself using the apartment as a real base rather than just a place to crash, which doesn’t always happen when you travel. Check-in was straightforward – they seem to have that apartment-rental thing figured out without the usual key-pickup drama. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me; it’s the kind of place that quietly does everything right without trying to wow you with flashy amenities you don’t actually need.
Hotels in Prague offer guests the perfect blend of Gothic grandeur and modern comfort, with many featuring traditional Czech beer concierge services and medieval architecture to enhance the authentic Central European cultural experience.

Beautiful spacious apartment, great location and hosts were very attentive.
What could be improved: There was a smell of smoke in the property that was hard to mask.I liked it a lot. Perfect for one or a couple. – Vladimir from Latvia – 5 January 2025 (10/10)
Very nice room and great location.
Beautiful and conveniently located. The hosts are friendly and willing to solve any issues that arise.Beautiful stay – Suvratha from Germany – 3 January 2025 (8/10)
The location was good. The apartment was pretty and is equipped with everything needed. The room as well as the bathroom was clean. The staff we interacted via message were always friendly. The building is secure. It even has a lift. The apartment we stayed in had a good view.
What could be improved: There were no place to keep clothes in the apartment as well as in the bathroom. There was a coat hanger near the entrance and bathroom had two hooks. May be this could be improved.
Way too much information was provided about the room how to enter and the parking space. These came in multiple messages which lead to us not having read all of them and creating confusion. Maybe provide all the message in one place instead of multiple google drive links. The parking space could have also be secured with a pin and to come out using a button or so. Messaging every time was tedious.Convenient location, cleanliness and warm welcome. Recommended! – Aleksandr from Belarus – 27 December 2024 (10/10)
We really liked the hospitality of the hosts. We were in a cozy and clean apartment, there were tea bags and a box of chocolates on the table. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for life. In the bathroom there are towels, shampoo and shower gel, a hair dryer and a washing machine. The room is warm, cozy, with a large TV and good Internet. As soon as the room was ready for check-in, we were sent a message. We were able to check in earlier. There were no problems with check-in, as we were sent detailed instructions with photos on how to open the door using a secret code. The owner of the apartment is sociable and always in touch. Convenient location from the sights. Quiet and calm area. Nearby is a park where you can walk your pet. I recommend these apartments to everyone.
