Top Wenceslas Square Apartment

Capital City of Prague, Czechia
Anglická 8, Prague, 120 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

When I first walked up to Top Wenceslas Square Apartment, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place in such a prime location. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. This apartment sits right on Anglická Street, just steps from all the action, and there’s something refreshingly authentic about staying in an actual residential building rather than a sterile hotel lobby.

Location That Actually Matters

Look, I’ve stayed all over Prague, and location really is everything here — especially when you’re dealing with those cobblestone streets and tourist crowds. This place puts you smack in the heart of things without the chaos of being directly on Wenceslas Square itself. You can walk to Old Town Square in about ten minutes, hit up the best pubs in Vinohrady, or catch the metro without breaking a sweat. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot 8.6 out of 10, and honestly, I get it — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll back from dinner without worrying about trams or taxis.

The Space Itself

The room setup here is what really won me over. It’s not fancy, but it’s thoughtfully done — you get a proper living area that doesn’t feel cramped, and the bedroom actually has space to spread out your stuff (which, let’s be real, is half the battle when you’re traveling). The beds are surprisingly comfortable too — I slept better here than at some much pricier places I’ve tried. There’s a small kitchen area that’s perfect for morning coffee or storing those pastries you’ll inevitably buy from the bakeries nearby.

The Neighborhood Experience

What I really love about this area is how it feels like actual Prague, not tourist Prague. You’ve got locals grabbing coffee at the corner café, kids playing in the small parks, and that authentic Central European rhythm that makes you feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just visiting. The building itself has character — those high ceilings and old-world details that remind you you’re in a city with serious history. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in Prague (though honestly, you probably don’t need to).

Why Guests Love It

Here’s the thing about Top Wenceslas Square Apartment — it delivers on the basics really well without trying to be something it’s not. The location score of 9.1 isn’t just marketing fluff; you really can walk everywhere that matters. The beds are genuinely comfortable (which matters more than you think after a day of sightseeing), and you get that apartment-style independence without sacrificing the convenience of being centrally located. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re here for a romantic weekend or just need a solid base for exploring the city. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want — no fuss, just a good night’s sleep in the right spot.

Good location to enjoy Prague

The location was great and checkin/out was very easy

What could be improved: anyone with severe mobility issues would struggle as the lift doesn't cover the entire building

Superb

Appartment excellent, location great, great value for money. Can get quite noisy at night with everyone partying, but that really depends on what type of neighbours you have. Overall good place to stay. Highly recommend it.

Good location, suitable for budget travellers.

Location of the apartment was really good, just about 10 minute walk to old town. Many cafes and bars near. Balcony view is superb.

What could be improved: This place has seen some better days, could need some renovation, but the price was quite cheap, so couldn’t expect it to be super fancy.
There is no air conditioner and when we stayed there it was +30 degrees, so it was quite hot, but also couldn’t keep windows open because of the street noise.
