The street gets some tram traffic during the day, but it’s that pleasant Prague soundscape rather than anything jarring. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to Národní Street for dinner, but far enough from the Old Town that you won’t be dodging tour groups every time you leave the building.

When I asked about getting to Vinohrady for dinner, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward a taxi; he explained which tram connections would be fastest and mentioned a wine bar I never would have found otherwise. The check-in process is smooth, parking is available (though you’ll want to book it ahead – this is Prague center, after all), and they’ve got this relaxed vibe that makes you feel welcome without being overly formal. It’s the kind of place where you could easily stay for a week and feel settled, but it works just as well for a long weekend. The 8.9 rating honestly feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it nails the fundamentals while giving you that authentic Prague living experience that’s getting harder to find as the city gets more touristy.

  Location, design, it was clean and tidy, the bed was really comfortable.
  Access to the property was easy.
  
  What could be improved: The shower door was hard to close, like the other ones within the apartment. The walls are thin, we could hear the neighbours shout, listen to music from the apartment next to us.
