Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of five-star places, but The Wenceslas Square Terrace actually lives up to that 9.9 rating – and honestly, I’m usually pretty skeptical of anything that perfect. The thing is, this place gets everything right without being stuffy about it. When you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone really thought about what travelers actually want, not just what looks good in photos.
The location is what really sold me, though. You’re tucked away on Čelakovského sady, which means you’re literally a two-minute walk from all the Wenceslas Square action, but you’re not dealing with the street noise and crowds right outside your window. I mean, you can step out and be at the National Museum or grab a beer at one of those classic Prague pubs, but when you come back, it feels like you’re retreating to this calm pocket of the city. The staff – and this might sound small, but it matters – they actually know the neighborhood. Not just the tourist spots, but where to grab coffee at 7 AM or which tram line gets you to Prague Castle without the tourist hordes.
What really impressed me was the attention to details that most places completely miss. The soundproofing is incredible (you know how thin hotel walls can be), the lighting actually works for reading, and honestly, the bed situation is next level. I’m talking about waking up genuinely refreshed, not that stiff-neck hotel sleep you usually get. The terrace spaces – which obviously the name hints at – give you these perfect views over the city without feeling like you’re in a fishbowl. I spent way too much time up there with morning coffee, watching Prague wake up. You can see the castle in the distance, but you’re also getting this authentic slice of local life happening in the streets below. Check-in was smooth, no weird holds on credit cards or surprise fees, and they sorted out restaurant reservations without making it feel like a huge favor. The whole experience just felt… effortless, I guess? Like staying with a very well-organized friend who happens to live in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
To book a hotel in Prague during the famous Easter Market season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and architecture lovers from around the world.

Superb – Ryan from United Kingdom – 25 July 2025 (9/10)
Location is excellent. Quality of furnishings and bathroom supplies very good e.g. shower gels, shampoos, deodorants, washing powder etc. Communication from host excellent throughout and recommendations for things provided if needed.
What could be improved: Ideally this is a 9.5 rather than 9. Only reason for 9 instead of 10 was knocked off 0.5 each for lack of iron/ironing board and clothes horse for drying washing. Apologies if these were available but couldn't find them. I do wonder if aircon may be required in really hot weather although we stayed in middle of summer (July) and it was just about fine in terms of temperature on night.Amazing! 🤩 – Liisbeth from Estonia – 29 June 2025 (10/10)
We had an amazing stay at this apartment! The bed was super comfortable, and everything we needed was provided — even thoughtful extras like body lotion, toothbrushes and shower gel.
The terrace was such a treat — great for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening after a day in the city. The location is perfect, with all the main attractions within walking distance and lots of great restaurants nearby.
Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We truly enjoyed our holiday and would absolutely recommend this place to our friends!

Well located. The host was super friendly and was attentive with products for our stay. He gave good recommendations of what to eat and see. The house had everything we needed. He went above and beyond by providing bathroom products and other essentials.
What could be improved: The place clean overall but we did notice a few spider webs.Fabulous location and gorgeous compact apartment. – Louise from Australia – 18 May 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was beautifully appointed and our host went above and beyond to secure a car space near by for us. He had some wonderful suggestions for breakfast and dinner and favourite coffee shops! All very much appreciated and made our stay in beautiful Prague so much better.

What could be improved: Absolutely nothing,it was perfect.Romantisches Apartment im Zentrum von Prag – Emma from Switzerland – 17 July 2025 (10/10)
Bequemes großes Bett, großartiger Gastgeber
Rövid (de akár hosszabb) tartózkodásra kitűnően megfelelő, remek fekvésű lakás. – Erika from Hungary – 9 June 2025 (10/10)
Nagyon jól felszerelt, kiváló fekvésű lakás. Egyszerű átadás-átvétel.
Céljainknak tökéletesen megfelelt, remek kiindulópont a városnézéshez.
What could be improved: Nem találkoztam ilyennel…Perfekte Unterkunft für ein Wochenende zu zweit. – Erik from Germany – 26 May 2025 (10/10)
