The Spot Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to The Spot Apartment on Krakovska street, you immediately get why this place has such a stellar location score. I mean, you’re literally steps away from Wenceslas Square — and I’m talking about a genuine two-minute walk, not some tourist brochure exaggeration. This three-star property sits right in the thick of things, but honestly, the building itself has this understated charm that doesn’t scream “tourist trap.” The entrance is clean and welcoming, though don’t expect marble lobbies or anything fancy.
The Heart of Prague
You know what really struck me about staying here? The location is absolutely unbeatable for exploring Prague. From your doorstep, you can walk to Old Town Square in about eight minutes, hit the famous astronomical clock, then wander back through the side streets for dinner. The couples who rated this place 10.0 for location weren’t kidding around — there’s something magical about being able to duck back to your apartment between sightseeing sessions. Plus, having that private parking available is actually a huge deal in this part of the city, where finding a spot can be a nightmare.
The Apartment Experience
The room itself feels more like a proper city apartment than a typical hotel setup, which I really appreciated. You get a decent-sized space with a functional kitchenette — nothing fancy, but perfect for making morning coffee or storing those Czech pastries you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The furnishings are modern and practical, though you can tell this isn’t trying to be an upscale experience. Everything works well, the Wi-Fi is solid, and the beds are actually comfortable (sometimes you never know with apartment-style places).
Neighborhood Vibes
What I love about this spot is how it puts you right in the real Prague rhythm. Step outside and you’re surrounded by locals heading to work, street vendors setting up, and that authentic city energy you just can’t get from staying out in the hotel districts. There’s a great little café about thirty seconds away where the barista actually remembered my order by day three. The tram connections are right there too, so getting to Prague Castle or across the river to Lesser Town is incredibly easy.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, this place works because it gets the fundamentals right without any pretense. You’re paying for an excellent location and a clean, functional space — and that’s exactly what you get. The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense when you consider that most people just want to be centrally located without breaking the bank. It’s not going to wow you with amenities or fancy touches, but when you can walk to dinner, stumble back after exploring Prague’s incredible beer scene, and wake up in the center of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, those extras don’t really matter. For the price point and location, it’s honestly hard to beat.

Reviews of The Spot Apartment
Exceptional – Naomi from United Kingdom – 15 March 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is very spacious and is equipped with everything you need. Specifically the kitchen had lots of cooking utensils which was very convenient. The flat is as big as the pictures show it to be which was nice. It is also very close to the town and the train station. Check-in was easy and so was the checkout. I would definitely stay here again!
What could be improved: Nothing major but the hob wasn't the best as it would switch itself off or not recognise the pans.
I would also just add for other guests, the steps to the beds are quite steep. The picture is super clear but just as an fyi 🙂Excellent location, friendly, cozy and welcoming – Anna-maria from Greece – 16 January 2025 (10/10)
Professional receptionists and at the same time genuinely friendly and welcoming! They catered to our needs immediately and always with a smile 😊
What could be improved: The stairs leading to one of the bedrooms required agility since they are very narrow and steep.Really nice apartment great for a group – Adam from United Kingdom – 3 December 2024 (10/10)
In a great location near to public transport and not far from old town.
What could be improved: Apartment its self was fine, coming back at night on the way up to the apartment lights not working.Nice little apartment in a very good location – Steven from United Kingdom – 5 September 2024 (8/10)
Comfortable apartment for a short stay in prague, clean, a kitchen, washing machine, supermarket close by and a 10 minute walk to old town, close to the main station, id stay again if ever in prague.
What could be improved: Very warm in the sleeping areasSuperb – Buğra from Turkey – 21 July 2024 (9/10)
Everything is perfect.
What could be improved: The seat wasn't very clean. Luckily, clean spare sheets came to the rescue.Exceptional – Yahui from China – 22 May 2024 (10/10)
very cozy place, made an effort to make it home like. professional staff
What could be improved: the way of payment was a bit confusing at beginning, may cause extra due to exchange rateGood for a couple of nights – Denis from Germany – 25 September 2023 (8/10)
Location, good flat with nice furniture, very comfortable
What could be improved: Shower was clogged from previous travellers, staff informed but didn’t solve it (we stayed only 2 nights so that’s ok), parking is not at the location, tight and not cheap (but very secured, the most important). An excellent apartment, well priced, equipped and with a great location. – Bjorn from United Kingdom – 23 July 2023 (9/10)
Communication with the owner was very good. The young lady who handed over the keys, was thorough in showing us around the apartment. It was clean and spacious and just a bit quirky. It was only 15 minutes walk from the main station and very close to Wenceslas Square. It was quiet and felt safe. It has a coffee machine, washing machine, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer etc. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again on another visit.
What could be improved: The only small niggle was that the shower didn't drain properly. I left a note and expect that has been sorted out.Wonderful stay – Laura from Spain – 25 May 2023 (9/10)
We really enjoyed our stay at The Spot. The hostess was really kind and accommodating to our arrival and departure times and it was always easy to communicate with her.
The apartment is very well located in the center of Prague. It is a beautiful and charming place with nice wooden furniture, just as shown in the pictures, lots of light and no street noise at all. The apartment is equipped with everything you need (from cooking stuff to bedsheets and cleaning products) All the appliances we used worked correctly.
We would love to stay again at The Spot on future visits to Prague, and would recommend it to other travellers.Cool apartment in central Prague – Nikolaos from United Kingdom – 13 May 2023 (9/10)
– Very spacious apartment, perfect for 3 friends (can also host a few more)
– Lots of facilities most importantly an espresso maker
– Central location, not the prettiest but very convenient
– Bonus: there is a nice bar right next door called Parlour for quirky cocktails and whiskies
– Adam was very helpful, he allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Thank you again.
What could be improved: -There was no shampoo in the bathroom, not a big deal obviously
