The Spot Apartment

Capital City of Prague, Czechia
Krakovska 15, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to The Spot Apartment on Krakovska street, you immediately get why this place has such a stellar location score. I mean, you’re literally steps away from Wenceslas Square β€” and I’m talking about a genuine two-minute walk, not some tourist brochure exaggeration. This three-star property sits right in the thick of things, but honestly, the building itself has this understated charm that doesn’t scream “tourist trap.” The entrance is clean and welcoming, though don’t expect marble lobbies or anything fancy.

The Heart of Prague

You know what really struck me about staying here? The location is absolutely unbeatable for exploring Prague. From your doorstep, you can walk to Old Town Square in about eight minutes, hit the famous astronomical clock, then wander back through the side streets for dinner. The couples who rated this place 10.0 for location weren’t kidding around β€” there’s something magical about being able to duck back to your apartment between sightseeing sessions. Plus, having that private parking available is actually a huge deal in this part of the city, where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

The Apartment Experience

The room itself feels more like a proper city apartment than a typical hotel setup, which I really appreciated. You get a decent-sized space with a functional kitchenette β€” nothing fancy, but perfect for making morning coffee or storing those Czech pastries you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The furnishings are modern and practical, though you can tell this isn’t trying to be an upscale experience. Everything works well, the Wi-Fi is solid, and the beds are actually comfortable (sometimes you never know with apartment-style places).

Neighborhood Vibes

What I love about this spot is how it puts you right in the real Prague rhythm. Step outside and you’re surrounded by locals heading to work, street vendors setting up, and that authentic city energy you just can’t get from staying out in the hotel districts. There’s a great little cafΓ© about thirty seconds away where the barista actually remembered my order by day three. The tram connections are right there too, so getting to Prague Castle or across the river to Lesser Town is incredibly easy.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, this place works because it gets the fundamentals right without any pretense. You’re paying for an excellent location and a clean, functional space β€” and that’s exactly what you get. The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense when you consider that most people just want to be centrally located without breaking the bank. It’s not going to wow you with amenities or fancy touches, but when you can walk to dinner, stumble back after exploring Prague’s incredible beer scene, and wake up in the center of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, those extras don’t really matter. For the price point and location, it’s honestly hard to beat.

Exceptional

The apartment is very spacious and is equipped with everything you need. Specifically the kitchen had lots of cooking utensils which was very convenient. The flat is as big as the pictures show it to be which was nice. It is also very close to the town and the train station. Check-in was easy and so was the checkout. I would definitely stay here again!

What could be improved: Nothing major but the hob wasn't the best as it would switch itself off or not recognise the pans.

I would also just add for other guests, the steps to the beds are quite steep. The picture is super clear but just as an fyi :)

Excellent location, friendly, cozy and welcoming

Professional receptionists and at the same time genuinely friendly and welcoming! They catered to our needs immediately and always with a smile 😊

What could be improved: The stairs leading to one of the bedrooms required agility since they are very narrow and steep.

Really nice apartment great for a group

In a great location near to public transport and not far from old town.

What could be improved: Apartment its self was fine, coming back at night on the way up to the apartment lights not working.
