You know what? The Spot Apartment totally caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. Walking up to Krakovska 15, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but sometimes the best surprises come in modest packages. The location is actually brilliant if you know Prague at all – you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Wenceslas Square, which sounds touristy but hear me out. It means you can stumble back from those late-night beer halls in Vinohrady without dealing with trams or taxis, and trust me, your feet will thank you after a day of wandering those cobblestone streets.

The apartment itself has this lived-in feel that I really appreciated – not like those sterile hotel rooms where you’re afraid to touch anything. The space actually feels like someone’s home (which, well, it sort of is), with quirky touches and furniture that doesn’t match perfectly but somehow works. I loved the windows facing the street – yes, you’ll hear some traffic noise in the morning, but there’s something oddly comforting about the sounds of Prague waking up. The kitchen was properly equipped too, which is huge if you’re staying more than a couple nights. I mean, Czech food is incredible, but sometimes you just want to make coffee your way and grab some pastries from that little bakery on the corner without committing to a full restaurant breakfast.

What really sold me on this place was how it sits right in that sweet spot between the touristy center and actual Prague life. You’re close enough to walk to the Castle or Old Town Square when you want that postcard experience, but you’re also surrounded by normal cafes and shops where locals actually go. The building itself has that classic Prague character – you know, the kind where the elevator is tiny and makes interesting noises, but the ceilings are impossibly high and the details are gorgeous. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that over-the-top hospitality theater, just practical people who clearly know what travelers actually need. That 8.6 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not trying to be the Ritz, it delivers exactly what it promises and then some. If you’re the type who values location and authentic vibes over fancy amenities, this spot will definitely work for you.

  The apartment is very spacious and is equipped with everything you need. Specifically the kitchen had lots of cooking utensils which was very convenient. The flat is as big as the pictures show it to be which was nice. It is also very close to the town and the train station. Check-in was easy and so was the checkout. I would definitely stay here again!
  
  What could be improved: Nothing major but the hob wasn't the best as it would switch itself off or not recognise the pans.
  
  I would also just add for other guests, the steps to the beds are quite steep. The picture is super clear but just as an fyi 🙂

  What could be improved: The stairs leading to one of the bedrooms required agility since they are very narrow and steep.

  Communication with the owner was very good. The young lady who handed over the keys, was thorough in showing us around the apartment. It was clean and spacious and just a bit quirky. It was only 15 minutes walk from the main station and very close to Wenceslas Square. It was quiet and felt safe. It has a coffee machine, washing machine, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer etc. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again on another visit.
  
  What could be improved: The only small niggle was that the shower didn't drain properly. I left a note and expect that has been sorted out.

  We really enjoyed our stay at The Spot. The hostess was really kind and accommodating to our arrival and departure times and it was always easy to communicate with her.
  
  The apartment is very well located in the center of Prague. It is a beautiful and charming place with nice wooden furniture, just as shown in the pictures, lots of light and no street noise at all. The apartment is equipped with everything you need (from cooking stuff to bedsheets and cleaning products) All the appliances we used worked correctly.
  
  We would love to stay again at The Spot on future visits to Prague, and would recommend it to other travellers.

• Cool apartment in central Prague – Nikolaos from United Kingdom – 13 May 2023 (9/10)

  – Very spacious apartment, perfect for 3 friends (can also host a few more)
  – Lots of facilities most importantly an espresso maker
  – Central location, not the prettiest but very convenient
  – Bonus: there is a nice bar right next door called Parlour for quirky cocktails and whiskies
  – Adam was very helpful, he allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Thank you again.
  
  What could be improved: -There was no shampoo in the bathroom, not a big deal obviously

  What could be improved: Shower was clogged from previous travellers, staff informed but didn’t solve it (we stayed only 2 nights so that’s ok), parking is not at the location, tight and not cheap (but very secured, the most important).
