The address literally puts you on Pařížská Street – which, if you’ve never been, is basically Prague’s answer to Fifth Avenue – but somehow the building manages to feel intimate rather than overwhelming.

I mean, you’re talking about a 30-second walk to Old Town Square, where you can grab your morning coffee while watching tourists take selfies with the Astronomical Clock (pro tip: the crowds thin out around 8 AM if you’re an early riser). But here’s what I really appreciated – the apartments themselves actually have proper kitchens and living spaces that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The windows are these gorgeous tall things that let in tons of light, and if you’re lucky enough to get one facing the right direction, you’ll catch glimpses of Prague Castle in the distance. The decor strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and respecting the building’s obvious history – think clean lines but with those beautiful high ceilings and original architectural details that make you remember you’re in a city that’s been around for over a thousand years.

What really sold me, though, was how quiet it gets at night despite being right in the center of everything. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day (it’s Prague 1, not a monastery), but by evening things settle down nicely. The building itself is solid – those thick walls that old European buildings do so well. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood beyond just pointing tourists toward the castle. They mentioned this little bakery around the corner on Dlouhá Street that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, their koláče became part of my daily routine. Parking is… well, it’s Prague’s historic center, so don’t expect miracles, but there are options within walking distance if you’re driving. The Náměstí Míru metro station is close enough that you can easily explore beyond the tourist zone – Vinohrady is gorgeous if you want to see where actual Praguers live and eat. I’d say book this place if you want to feel like you’re living in Prague rather than just visiting it, but fair warning – once you’ve had your morning coffee while looking out at those cobblestone streets, going back to regular hotel rooms is going to feel pretty disappointing.
