Stylový byt v srdci Prahy Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Stylový byt v srdci Prahy” listed, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone, but this little apartment hotel on Masná Street turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something authentic in Prague’s Old Town. And I mean actually in the Old Town, not some tourist trap version of it.
The location is what really gets me excited about this place. You’re literally three minutes from the Powder Tower, and honestly, most people walk right past Masná Street without realizing there’s this perfectly positioned spot tucked away from the main tourist chaos. I love that you can slip out in the morning, grab coffee from one of the local spots (there’s this great little place around the corner that locals actually use), and you’re already in the thick of things without feeling like you’re staying in a hotel lobby that doubles as a tour group meeting point. The building itself has that classic Prague charm – you know, the kind where you’re climbing stairs that have probably seen a few centuries of foot traffic, but it doesn’t feel run-down, just… lived-in? The apartments are styled with this modern-meets-traditional Czech aesthetic that actually works, unlike some places that try too hard to be trendy.
What I really appreciate is how quiet it gets at night, which honestly surprised me given how central you are. I mean, you’re going to hear some street noise during the day – it’s Prague’s city center, not the countryside – but by evening things settle down nicely. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me because while it’s not luxury (it’s a solid 3-star), everything works the way it should, the space feels thoughtfully put together, and the staff seems to actually know the neighborhood. I had someone give me directions to a pharmacy that wasn’t the obvious tourist one, which sounds small but those kinds of details matter when you’re trying to live like a human being for a few days instead of just checking boxes off a sightseeing list. Check-in was straightforward too – none of that awkward fumbling around with keys or confusing building entrances that you sometimes get with apartment-style places.
The thing about staying here is that you end up walking everywhere because you’re so well-positioned, but it never feels like work. Wenceslas Square, the Jewish Quarter, all those riverside spots along the Vltava – they’re all genuinely walkable, not “walkable if you don’t mind a 20-minute trek.” And when you come back after a day of wandering around, there’s something satisfying about turning onto this quieter street and feeling like you’re returning somewhere that’s yours for the moment, not just processing through another hotel corridor. It’s the kind of place that makes Prague feel manageable and intimate rather than overwhelming, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience the city instead of just surviving it.

Reviews of Stylový byt v srdci Prahy
Good – Imane from Morocco – 15 May 2025 (7/10)
The location is amazing. The room is a few hundred meters away from the old town square and close to all the main touristy spots but it’s tucked away in a quiet street. Tomas is very responsive and he managed to arrange for us to check in one hour early so we’re very thankful for that.
What could be improved: The bed is so uncomfortable it made the stay extremely unpleasant. The mattress is so thin you can feel the individual slats when you lay down. It was really unfortunate coming back to the room after a long day of walking and not being able to have a good nights sleep because of the state of the bed.Exceptional – Nie from Poland – 6 April 2025 (10/10)
The owner let us check in much earlier, because we arrived to soon. Also we get a small welcome gift when we arrived ☺️
Great location and value for money – Ana from Serbia – 2 February 2025 (9/10)
LOCATION is great, few steps from The Old Square. The instructions for entering the apartment were clear. The apartment was very clean. Bottle of wine that was waiting for us was a nice touch. Very cozy apartment.
What could be improved: The building was a bit loud but we didn’t hear music from a near by club. Not much sunlight in the room.Fabulous – Khaled from United Kingdom – 20 October 2024 (10/10)
Location literally few steps to the old town square. Heart of Prague so you can visit all the attractions by walking . Plenty of public transportation. The property is clean good communication with Tomas easy to check in even he let me check in earlier . What can you ask more it’s very good for couple or single travelers. So it’s very good for a value.
Thank you, we had a very pleasant stay! – Diana from Israel – 15 September 2024 (10/10)

Cozy clean place in excellent location – Anamaria from Romania – 16 May 2024 (9/10)
Cozy small room, very clean & very close to the main sites, great location.
The host was very helpful & replied promptly to our questions.
It would be excellent if there would be a tiny coffee machine 🙂
What could be improved: –Lovely little apartment in a great location – Danicourt from United Kingdom – 10 December 2023 (9/10)
Location was perfect, right near Old Town square and a short walk to the metro station. The apartment was small and cosy, clean and warm.
The host, Tomáš, was great at communicating with us and very friendly.
The only downside was that there is a nightclub next door, so you can hear the bass from this – not the fault of the host of course! But I would recommend taking earplugs if you're a light sleeper like me!
Overall would definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Prague 🙂Great place, love it – Agnieszka from Poland – 2 September 2022 (10/10)
Location of the place is the best. There was everything needed in the apartment – bed, table, frigde, electric kettle and nice bathroom. Contact with the host was good, he was very helpful and nice. Thank you for the stay!

It’s a very nice, cosy place in the center of Prague with great and very helpful hospitality. The place is warm, quiet and functional and for couple of days you feel as habitant of Prague. I do recomend Tomas and his nice appartment. I liked the way to get into the appartment, which is a good Fin, possibility to make simple meals, wi-fi.
