Stylish new apartment in Prague with A/C

Prague, Czech Republic
4 Kožná, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

Honestly, when I first walked into this place on Kožná Street, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, “stylish new apartment” could mean anything these days, right? But stepping through that door was actually kind of a revelation. The AC hit me immediately (and trust me, if you’re visiting Prague in July or August, you’ll understand why that’s worth mentioning first), and everything just felt… well, thoughtfully put together in a way that most Prague rentals honestly don’t.

The location is what really gets me though. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Powder Tower, which sounds touristy until you realize it means you can stumble back from dinner in Old Town without dealing with trams or taxis. I spent most mornings grabbing coffee from this little place called Míru Café just around the corner – the locals there actually knew decent English, which was a pleasant surprise. What’s funny is how quiet it gets at night despite being so central. Kožná isn’t one of those streets where drunk tourists are singing at 2 AM, but you can still hear the gentle hum of the city if you open the windows. The building itself has this restored historic feel without being stuffy about it, and the apartment manages to blend modern comfort with that Prague character you’re probably hoping to find.

You know what really sold me on the place? The details that someone clearly thought about. The shower pressure is actually decent (not always a given in European apartments), there’s enough counter space in the kitchen to spread out if you want to make breakfast, and – this might sound weird – but the lighting is just right. Not too harsh, not too dim, just comfortable for reading or working on your laptop in the evening. I did notice the elevator is pretty small, so if you’re traveling with huge suitcases, be prepared for some strategic maneuvering. The building entrance requires a code, which feels secure but also means your food delivery person might need some guidance. Check-in was smooth though – the host sent clear instructions ahead of time and responded quickly when I had questions. During my stay in late spring, the apartment stayed cool naturally, but I imagine that AC becomes crucial during peak summer months. The 9 rating makes total sense when you consider you’re getting hotel-quality comfort with the space and freedom of an apartment, right in the heart of Prague’s most walkable neighborhood.

It was so central to Prague main centre. An excellent location. Modern facilities. Washer and dryer available. Bed was so comfortable. Nice spacious room. Bathroom was all new and modern.

What could be improved: It had stairs to the elevator and stopped mid floor so you needed to wall stairs to your floor. The only negative I can say
