Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about this place? The light. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of Prague apartments that feel like caves, but walking into this spot on Železná Street was honestly like stepping into one of those design magazines – except it actually felt livable. The owner has this knack for making historic bones feel completely fresh without losing that old-world charm that makes Prague so addictive.
The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the tourist chaos. Železná runs right between Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, so you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Astronomical Clock (though honestly, you’ll probably get tired of hearing it chime every hour). But here’s the thing locals know – this particular stretch is just residential enough that you won’t have groups of drunk twenty-somethings stumbling past your windows at 2 AM. I actually slept really well, which is saying something because I’m usually a light sleeper in cities. The building itself dates back centuries, so yeah, you’ll hear the occasional creak, but it’s that good kind of old building settling, not the annoying kind of thin walls.
What really sets this place apart is how the owner – who I’m pretty sure is an architect or designer – has handled the renovation. Everything feels intentional but not precious, you know what I mean? The kitchen actually works (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some eggs), the shower has proper pressure, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The WiFi was solid too, which mattered since I was trying to work a bit. Prague can be tricky in shoulder seasons – April and October especially – but this place stays comfortable year-round. I was there in late September and didn’t need to mess with any heating or cooling. The rating of 9.5 honestly makes sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places that just works without any drama or nasty surprises. Plus, and this is key for Prague, you can actually walk everywhere you want to go – Kampa Island, the castle, all the good beer halls – without needing trams or taxis, though the Můstek metro station is right there if you want to venture further out.
Apartments in Prague provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Czech culinary traditions.

Reviews
Murat from Turkey – 15 April 2024 (10/10)
Location was great, right in the middile of the old town within close proximity to everything there is to see. Land lord is very helpful and responsive. The flat is very spacious and light filled as advertised. Very modern and well furnished.
What could be improved: Perhaps having to carry luggages two flights of stairs but the feeling very quickly disappears as soon as you walk through the flat entrance.Betty from Australia – 31 December 2024 (10/10)
Well positioned in the heart of Old Town. Spacious. Washing machine and dryer were helpful.
Julia from Australia – 12 August 2024 (10/10)
We were extremely impressed with this accomodation! It was right in the centre of Prague- located on a street off the old town square- and walking distance to everything. Whilst it was centrally located it didn’t seem loud at night- and we were able to sleep very easily!
The room was large and spacious with a tv, kitchen, dining room and large bathroom- and the apartment was gorgeous with huge windows that looked out onto the beautiful buildings around it and the street below.
It was very easy to communicate with the owner and getting into the apartment when we arrived and leaving it was all very smooth and easy!
Would highly recommend this place!!
What could be improved: There wasn’t anything!Mark from Hong Kong – 4 August 2024 (10/10)
As described, large studio adequate for our family with two kids. Kitchen well equipped but we didn't need to use it given the wide range of restaurants just outside the door in this pedestrian area. Very high level of cleanliness and high quality of furniture and fixtures. Host very attentive. Would recommend.
What could be improved: There's no elevator but that's to be expected in an historic location/building. Only two flights of steps so not an issue for us.Claire from Ireland – 21 July 2024 (8/10)
Very central and located on picturesque street. Bright and spacious room. Easy access and the host is very responsive
What could be improved: Could have heavier curtains for the sun in the morningSara from United States – 26 January 2024 (10/10)
We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful and cozy place with many personal touches. It is clearly a much-loved home and the owners have appointed it beautifully with high quality furniture and bedding. Stunning neighborhood and views.
What could be improved: We liked it all! Might be a little noisy in summer, but in winter it's very quiet.Aimee from Netherlands – 4 January 2024 (10/10)
very easy and good communication, despite our late booking
Joshua from United Kingdom – 16 December 2023 (9/10)
location perfect
stylish and modern
clean, comfortable

What could be improved: maybe an elevator for heavy bags would be necessaryKamaluddin from Germany – 31 December 2022 (10/10)
everything!!
What could be improved: no elevator but that wasn’t an issue for us. You could hear some noise from outside the street.Vivek from Netherlands – 7 September 2022 (10/10)
Beautiful place in the center of the city. Well maintained and had a great time.
Overall very good experience.
What could be improved: Only issue was Wifi wasn't working. Owner asked us to reset the router etc but did not work. Remote working was difficult, however we managed.
