Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Prague, and this little gem on Washingtonova absolutely nailed it. You know that sweet spot between being right in the thick of things but not having drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM? That’s exactly what you get here. The building itself has that classic Prague character – you’ll walk past those beautiful old facades that make you stop and take photos even when you’re just heading out for coffee.

What really got me was how thoughtfully everything was set up inside. I mean, someone actually lives in this city and knows what travelers need. The kitchen had proper coffee (not those tiny hotel packets), and honestly, the shower pressure was better than my apartment back home. The whole place feels like your stylish Prague friend let you crash at their place for the week. You’re literally a five-minute walk to Wenceslas Square, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – you’re also super close to the main train station, which sounds terrible but is actually brilliant for day trips. Plus, there’s this little Vietnamese place around the corner that locals hit up for pho, and a proper Czech pub that doesn’t have tourist menus in six languages.

The area gets busy during the day – I mean, you’re in central Prague, what do you expect – but it settles down nicely in the evenings. Street parking is basically impossible (fair warning), but there’s a garage about two blocks away if you’re driving. The tram connections are fantastic though, so you really don’t need a car. What impressed me most was how quiet it actually was inside, considering the location. Good windows make all the difference. The place sleeps well, the WiFi doesn’t cut out when you’re trying to video call home, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no standing around a lobby for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation.” You get the keys, you get settled, and you’re out exploring one of the most beautiful cities in Europe within an hour of arriving.
