It’s about a 15-minute tram ride to the city center (the stop’s literally around the corner), but you get to stay in a proper residential neighborhood where actual Czechs live. I mean, you’ll wake up to the smell of fresh bread from the local bakery instead of tourist trap restaurants. The parking situation alone is worth mentioning because, well, anyone who’s tried to park in central Prague knows it’s basically impossible. Here you get a proper spot included, which saves you probably 20 euros a day and a whole lot of stress.

What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night – being on the top floor means you’re away from street noise, but you can still hear the distant hum of the city. The air conditioning works brilliantly (and trust me, Prague summers can be brutal), though I found myself opening the windows most evenings because there’s actually a nice breeze up there.
