Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Rooftop Deluxe apartment on Navrátilova Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special. This four-star property sits right in Prague’s historic center — and I mean really in the heart of things, not just claiming to be. The building has that classic Prague charm you see in postcards, but what struck me first was how quiet the street felt despite being so central. You know what’s brilliant? The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that you’re staying somewhere thoughtfully designed rather than just another tourist accommodation.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect for exploring Prague. You’re literally steps away from the major sights — I could walk to Old Town Square in about five minutes, and Prague Castle is an easy stroll across the river. What I loved though was discovering the little local spots nearby that most tourists miss. There’s this fantastic traditional Czech pub just around the corner that locals actually frequent, and the morning bakery on the next street over makes the kind of pastries that’ll ruin hotel breakfast for you. The area feels authentically Prague, not like those touristy zones where everything’s overpriced and designed for visitors.

The Apartment Experience

The rooftop aspect isn’t just marketing speak — you actually get these incredible views over Prague’s red-tiled rooftops and church spires. My room had this perfect little seating area by the window where I’d sit with coffee in the mornings, watching the city wake up. The space itself feels more like a well-appointed city apartment than a hotel room, which I suppose is exactly the point. Everything’s thoughtfully arranged, from the kitchenette (actually useful, not just decorative) to the comfortable seating areas. The bathroom was modern and spacious, though I’ll admit the shower pressure could’ve been stronger — but that’s pretty typical for historic Prague buildings.

What Makes It Special

What really sets Rooftop Deluxe apartment apart is how it balances that authentic Prague experience with genuine comfort. The building maintains its historic character — you’ll hear the occasional creak of old wooden floors — but everything’s been updated where it matters. The heating works perfectly (crucial for Prague winters), the WiFi is reliable, and there’s proper blackout curtains for those summer nights when it stays light until nearly 10 PM. I also appreciated the little touches, like having a proper coffee machine and local area recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots.

Why Guests Love It

It’s easy to see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about having your own Prague apartment with rooftop views. The combination of privacy, location, and those stunning vistas creates the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. But honestly, I think anyone who wants to experience Prague like a local rather than just another tourist would appreciate staying here. You get that sense of living in the city rather than just visiting it, which is exactly what you want when you’re exploring somewhere as magical as Prague.

Prague hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town Square to elegant castle-view hotels and modern accommodations near Wenceslas Square.

The apartment is located in a great area only 15min walking from the city center, with a breathtaking view from all the windows of the house.
It has all the necessities for a great stay in Prague.
Iskra, the hostess, was friendly and helpful also offering us a champagne for NYE.
We will definitely come back 😊😊

100% recommend.

Everything about the apartment is excellent. Sauna was a really good addition considering it was cold when we was in Prague. The host was very helpful let us leave our luggage after we checked out. The apartment was spotless clean. Would highly recommend

Great sauna!
Location

What could be improved: Very little. But to be picky…..

Slightly tricky to find, maybe mention the Bar downstairs on instructions
-also the lift isn’t perfect if you have claustrophobia.!
