Romantic Bohemian Studio in Old Town Prague

Prague, Czech Republic
13 Anenska 3rd floor, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to the third floor of this centuries-old building on Anenska Street, you can’t help but feel like you’re about to discover something special. The Romantic Bohemian Studio in Old Town Prague sits right in the thick of everything — I mean, you’re literally steps from Prague Castle and the Lesser Town. When I first opened the door, honestly, the space felt like stepping into an artist’s carefully curated hideaway. The exposed beams and original architectural details immediately tell you this four-star property isn’t trying to be some sterile hotel room.

The Space Itself

This studio actually lives up to its bohemian promise without going overboard with the theme. The layout is surprisingly clever — they’ve managed to create distinct areas for sleeping, lounging, and even a little kitchenette within what’s essentially one room. The furnishings have that perfectly imperfect vintage feel, with rich textiles and warm lighting that makes evening hours particularly cozy. You know what really struck me? The attention to small details, like the carefully chosen books on the shelves and the way natural light filters through those tall windows during the day.

Location Magic

Here’s the thing about Anenska Street — it’s one of those addresses that locals nod approvingly at when you mention it. You’re tucked away enough to feel like you’ve found a secret, but Charles Bridge is literally a two-minute walk down the hill. I spent mornings grabbing coffee at the little café around the corner before the tourist crowds descended on the castle area. The narrow cobblestone streets in this part of Lesser Town wind past hidden courtyards and local pubs that you’d never find if you were staying in the New Town hotel district.

The Prague Experience

What makes this place work so well is how it connects you to the real rhythm of Prague’s old quarter. From the studio’s windows, you catch glimpses of daily life — residents heading to work, the occasional horse-drawn carriage for tourists, church bells marking the hours. The building itself has that authentic Prague character, with thick walls that keep things quiet despite being in such a central spot. I found myself actually wanting to spend time in the room, which doesn’t always happen when you’re in a city with this much to explore.

Why Couples Love It

It’s easy to see why this studio scores so highly with couples — there’s something undeniably romantic about the whole setup. The intimate scale means you’re never far from each other, but the thoughtful layout prevents it from feeling cramped. Evening hours are particularly magical, with the warm lighting and those glimpses of Prague Castle illuminated in the distance. The kitchenette lets you grab fresh ingredients from the nearby markets and create your own little dinner moments, which honestly beats most restaurant experiences. Plus, being able to step out your door and wander the Lesser Town’s romantic streets at any hour — well, that’s the kind of Prague experience most people only dream about.

To book a hotel in Prague during the famous Easter Market season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and architecture lovers from around the world.

Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and super. The location is in the heart of Prague centre, a walking distance to all attractions in the city.
We liked how the owner takes care of everything visitors may need during their stay.
