The suites themselves are what really won me over. You know how most hotel rooms feel like they were designed by someone who’s never actually lived in a space? Not here. The living areas flow naturally, there’s actual counter space in the kitchenette (revolutionary concept, right?), and the beds are legitimately comfortable – not just hotel-marketing comfortable. I particularly loved the windows in my corner suite; they’re these tall European-style ones that let in amazing light during Prague’s surprisingly bright winter mornings. What really sealed the deal for me was the location knowledge the staff had. When I asked about getting to Vinohrady for dinner, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward a taxi – he told me which tram to catch and where to transfer, then recommended this little wine bar that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook I’d seen. That’s the kind of local insight you want. Parking was straightforward too, which in Prague city center is basically a minor miracle. The building itself sits close enough to the river that you get glimpses of it from the upper floors, and there’s something really satisfying about having that water nearby without dealing with the crowds that pack the riverfront hotels closer to Charles Bridge. Honestly, for a 4-star place pulling a 9 rating, it feels like one of those finds where the quality exceeds what you’d expect from the category – comfortable, well-located, and run by people who seem to actually care about whether you have a good stay.
