Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Reznicka Apartments on a quiet side street, you immediately get that “I found something special” feeling. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Prague, and I mean literally β€” you’re about a three-minute walk from Old Town Square. The building itself has that classic Central European charm, but what really struck me was how peaceful it felt despite being so central. You know how some city hotels make you feel like you’re sleeping next to a highway? This isn’t one of those places.

The Location Magic

Honestly, the location here is pretty incredible β€” couples especially seem to get it, rating it 9.3 for romantic trips, and I can see why. You’re tucked away on Reznicka street, which feels residential and authentic, but step out and you’re immediately in the thick of everything that matters. The astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, all those winding cobblestone streets you see in photos β€” they’re all within easy walking distance. What I really appreciated was being able to duck back to the apartment for a quick break between sightseeing sessions, something you can’t really do when you’re staying further out.

The Apartment Experience

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms β€” they’re actual apartments with proper living spaces. My unit had a separate bedroom, a decent-sized living area, and a functional kitchen that actually worked for making coffee in the morning or heating up pastries from the bakery downstairs. The room felt lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense β€” like staying at a friend’s place rather than a corporate hotel. The furnishings were modern but not trying too hard, and there was enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

Practical Comforts

What really made the stay work was all the little things they got right. The wifi was solid (important when you’re trying to navigate Prague’s maze-like streets), and the beds were actually comfortable β€” not always a given in European city hotels. The bathrooms were updated and clean, with good water pressure, which honestly felt like a small miracle after some of my other Prague experiences. There’s no on-site restaurant, but with the kitchen setup and the incredible food scene literally outside your door, that didn’t feel like a loss at all.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here β€” it’s that sweet spot between authentic local living and tourist convenience. You get the independence of having your own space, but you’re not sacrificing location for it. I mean, finding parking in central Prague is usually a nightmare, but they’ve sorted that out too. What really sets this place apart is how it lets you experience Prague like you actually live there, rather than just passing through. You’ll find yourself popping back between meals, taking afternoon breaks, and generally moving through the city at a more relaxed pace β€” which, honestly, is exactly how Prague should be experienced.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

Superb

Great apartment for the price! The location is excellent, with plenty of different restaurants nearby, and the main attractions are easily accessible on foot. The apartment is clean, the staircase is well-maintained, and the neighborhood is completely pleasant.

What could be improved: The boiler occasionally makes a strange whistling sound, which can be disturbing at night. However, when we closed both the bathroom and room doors, it was no longer audible. It would be worth fixing this issue. The water pressure in the shower is low, and the hairdryer has also seen better days. 😁

An average apartment, small, with limitations

The location was a good one both in terms of transportation and walking distance.
The apartment was in clean, descent condition.
The check in was smooth, although you need to pick up the keys in a completely different location, which seemed like a quiz. With luggage, it was not comfortable at all.

What could be improved: The hot water was via boiler, which means it was limited. You need to be careful not to use the water as much as you want and keep it for other people. For the tourist, it was quite a bad experience, as you are on a vacation and don’t want to think about such stuff while relaxing. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was way too low, was too uncomfortable to wash long hair.

The heating in the house was limited as well, so if you want to make the home comfortably warm, you don’t have any chance. Some nights felt really cold.

The pillows. There were only 2 small soft pillows only, not comfy at all. The bed was small, too.

The toilet papers and towels were also just one, which was not nice especially when you stay 7+ days. As a tourist, you really don’t want to think about such stuff, but they, in fact, make you!
