Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Reznicka Apartments? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street that feels completely removed from the tourist chaos, but you’re actually just a stone’s throw from everything that matters in Prague. I mean, Reznicka 5 sounds like nothing special on paper, but the location is honestly brilliant – you’re in a proper neighborhood where locals actually live, not some sterile hotel district. The building itself has that understated Czech charm, sort of worn around the edges in a good way, and when you walk up to it, you get this immediate sense that you’re staying somewhere real.
The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s genuinely comfortable. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night (these old Prague buildings have thick walls), and honestly, after dealing with paper-thin hotel walls elsewhere, that was such a relief. The kitchenettes are actually functional too – I’ve stayed in plenty of “apartment-style” places where the kitchen is basically decorative, but here you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to save some crowns or just need a break from restaurant food. The furnishings are a bit dated, sure, but it’s clean and well-maintained, and there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be Instagram-perfect.
Here’s what makes this spot work really well – you’re close enough to walk to the major sights without being in the thick of the crowds, and the public transport connections are actually excellent once you figure out the tram system. I found myself using the local cafés and shops on the surrounding streets, which gave me this authentic Prague experience that you just don’t get when you’re staying right in Old Town. The 8.1 rating makes total sense to me because it delivers on what it promises without any pretense. It’s not going to wow you with luxury touches, but it solves the real problems of where to sleep comfortably in an expensive city without breaking the bank. Plus, and this might sound weird, but there’s something nice about coming “home” to a quiet street after a day of sightseeing – it feels more like you’re living in Prague temporarily rather than just passing through as a tourist.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

Reviews
Superb – Sasha from Hungary – 24 March 2025 (9/10)
Great apartment for the price! The location is excellent, with plenty of different restaurants nearby, and the main attractions are easily accessible on foot. The apartment is clean, the staircase is well-maintained, and the neighborhood is completely pleasant.
What could be improved: The boiler occasionally makes a strange whistling sound, which can be disturbing at night. However, when we closed both the bathroom and room doors, it was no longer audible. It would be worth fixing this issue. The water pressure in the shower is low, and the hairdryer has also seen better days. 😁Good location – Joy from Taiwan – 23 January 2025 (9/10)
Good location
What could be improved: It’s quite small. Suits for solo visitorAn average apartment, small, with limitations – Nzhdeh from Armenia – 5 January 2025 (8/10)
The location was a good one both in terms of transportation and walking distance.
The apartment was in clean, descent condition.
The check in was smooth, although you need to pick up the keys in a completely different location, which seemed like a quiz. With luggage, it was not comfortable at all.
What could be improved: The hot water was via boiler, which means it was limited. You need to be careful not to use the water as much as you want and keep it for other people. For the tourist, it was quite a bad experience, as you are on a vacation and don’t want to think about such stuff while relaxing. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was way too low, was too uncomfortable to wash long hair.
The heating in the house was limited as well, so if you want to make the home comfortably warm, you don’t have any chance. Some nights felt really cold.
The pillows. There were only 2 small soft pillows only, not comfy at all. The bed was small, too.
The toilet papers and towels were also just one, which was not nice especially when you stay 7+ days. As a tourist, you really don’t want to think about such stuff, but they, in fact, make you!Overall great – Daria from Netherlands – 16 March 2024 (9/10)
Amazing location, very clean, comfy bed. Great value for the price
What could be improved: The only 2 things that really bothered: shower barely gives any water, and door handle is completely broken in Apartment Ria, so you have to make a lot of magic moves to open and close the doorit was within my expectations and higher, the price is good! – Omar from Czech Republic – 10 February 2024 (9/10)
Easy simple setup and clean room. There were kitchen tools and functioning kitchen devices that we could use for cooking!
What could be improved: Its not a big issue but basic things like salt and sugar would have been apriciated 🙂Overall – nice experience – Stanevicius from Lithuania – 2 November 2023 (9/10)
Very good location
What could be improved: Sometimes you can hear the lift very loudlyGreat – Enija from Latvia – 12 September 2023 (9/10)
Location is great, it is like 10 min walk to every tourist place. It is a studio apartment with view to the yard, it is more like view to another building, thats why the price is lower and it is suitable. You can not hear the noise from street. You do not have to meet anyone, you can get the keys following instructions. Someone in the reviews wrote that TV was not working- it is working you just have switch on the black router by TV and change antena to DTV and press the small red button.
What could be improved: The pressure in shower was low, it took a time to wash hairGreat location, comfortable and modern – Kim from South Africa – 9 September 2023 (8/10)
The apartment was lovely and modern, very comfortable. Location was very quiet. It was quite hot but you could sleep with the windows open as it was so quiet outside. It’s about a 20 min walk into the historical centre of Prague. There’s a metro station about 5 min away. There’s also a lovely gelato place just around the corner with very reasonable prices. The apartment is very good value for money.
What could be improved: I would’ve liked somewhere to hang clothes such as dresses etc. There was only a chest of drawers.Large comfortable flat better than expected – Lowe from United Kingdom – 2 July 2023 (8/10)
Large room with all facilities needed including small kitchenette, iron, hair dryer and fan (although the fan didn't work). Very cool at night time even in the summer, comfortable bed. Good location
What could be improved: Only negative was when checking in, we checked in at 1pm as is the earliest available time (and pre-arranged and confirmed check in between 12-1pm). The keys weren't in the lockbox as instructed as the cleaners were still cleaning. This would not have been the hosts fault as he didn't seem to be aware the cleaners were still there – maybe a breakdown in communication there. Host arranged for us to meet the cleaners in the flat to get the keys which was helpful, but we still had to wait another 30-45mins to wait for them to finish cleaning before we could settle in.Excellent location – Stephen from United Kingdom – 22 June 2023 (9/10)
The building and location are excellent. I slept very well here. I easily reached all the places that I wanted to visit.
