This four-star property sits in a residential area that feels refreshingly authentic, away from the tourist crowds but still well-connected to central Prague. The building has that understated Czech charm, and you know what really caught my attention? The fact that there’s actually parking right on site — and it’s free. Trust me, if you’ve ever tried to park in Prague’s city center, you’ll appreciate this more than you might expect.

What sets this place apart is that you’re staying in an actual apartment, not just a standard hotel room. I mean, the space feels like a real home — there’s a proper kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook (which I actually did a couple of times). The furnishings are modern but comfortable, nothing too fancy, just well-chosen pieces that actually work for daily life.

Here’s the thing about this neighborhood — it’s genuinely where locals live, which gives you a different perspective on Prague. You’re about 20 minutes from the Old Town by tram, and honestly, the public transport connections are solid. There’s a grocery store within walking distance, plus some local pubs and cafes that tourists rarely find. The area feels safe and quiet, especially in the evenings, which couples seem to really appreciate based on what I observed during my stay.

Practical Details That Matter

The restaurant situation is interesting — there isn’t one on-site, but with that full kitchen setup, you don’t really need it. Plus, the local dining scene in this part of Prague is worth exploring anyway. The staff is helpful without being overbearing, and they actually know the neighborhood well enough to give you solid recommendations. WiFi works reliably throughout the space, and the water pressure in the shower is better than what I’ve experienced at some much pricier places in the city center.

What really works here is the combination of space, value, and that authentic Prague experience. You’re not paying tourist prices, but you’re still getting quality accommodation with thoughtful touches. The free parking alone probably saves you 20-30 euros per day compared to city center options. It’s particularly well-suited for couples who want to experience Prague like locals rather than just ticking off the major sights — though you can easily do that too with the good transport links. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point.

  Nice hosts, quickly responding and accommodating. Party of 6 people felt spacious enough. Had everything we needed. Free gated parking. About 20 min drive to the old town. Grocery store and a little eatery is 2-3 min walk. Asian market is nearby.
  
  What could be improved: FYI no elevator, but it is only 2 nd floor, worked well for us.

  What could be improved: Lack of kitchen items such as salt and pepper, lack of capsules in the presence of a coffee machine. Lack of toothpaste.
  Inability to run a bath dut to lack of stopper.
  Only one entrance/exit to the territory through a large gate.

• Country side unmanned apartment – Arman from South Korea – 7 June 2024 (8/10)

  It's good for family stay, kind of far from city but it's well refurbished and maintained apartment.
  
  What could be improved: Note this is not a hotel with receptionist or so. They will send you an email with a code to a key holder box, you need to get the key and open the main gate yourself. Wish I could know the process in advance. There is no sign where is the box neither a name on the building so you need to guess which is Relax Hotel. I have uploaded some pho so you can get a better picture where is the key box and the main gate.
  Don't expect breakfast or meal as well, and you need to clean the kitchen before you leave, otherwise they change you.

• Comfortable stay outside of the city – Laura from United States – 25 April 2024 (8/10)

  Very comfortable and plenty of room. Hosts were very responsive (coffee pot was missing and they delivered one that day!!). Gate surrounding property so always felt safe and no worry of vehicles being vulnerable. Easy access to public transport.
  
  What could be improved: Missing some kitchen basics like wine and can opener. On a bit of a busy road, just an FYI, but gate around property so you don’t have to worry about kids wandering out on it.
