Look, I’ll be straight with you about the Ramada Airport Hotel Prague – it’s one of those places that actually gets the airport hotel thing right, which honestly surprised me the first time I stayed there. You know how most airport hotels feel like they’re trying too hard to make you forget you’re basically sleeping next to a runway? This one just embraces it and does it well.

The location is pretty much exactly what it sounds like – you’re literally at Terminal 3, which means if you’ve got an early flight or a long layover, you can practically roll out of bed and be at your gate in minutes. I mean, that’s the whole point, right? But here’s what I didn’t expect: the rooms are actually quiet. Like, surprisingly quiet considering planes are taking off nearby. They’ve got solid soundproofing, and honestly, after a day of walking around Prague’s cobblestones (your feet will thank you for the comfortable beds), the gentle hum is almost soothing. The rooms themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but the shower pressure is decent and the Wi-Fi actually works, which is more than I can say for some four-star places I’ve stayed at in the city center.

What I really appreciate is how they handle the practical stuff. Check-in is smooth even during those crazy summer months when Prague gets absolutely packed with tourists, and there’s proper parking if you’re driving – which a lot of people do when they’re heading to or from the airport. The restaurant isn’t going to win any awards, but the breakfast is solid (they do a good Czech-style spread alongside the usual international stuff), and you can grab a decent meal there if you don’t feel like venturing out. Speaking of venturing out, you’re obviously not in the heart of Prague here – this isn’t a place where you’ll stumble upon some hidden beer garden or catch a glimpse of the castle. But that 7.7 rating makes sense because it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, reliable place to sleep when your main concern is catching a flight, not exploring Wenceslas Square. If you need to be near the airport and want something that feels more like a proper hotel than just a place to crash, this actually works really well.

  Good location at Prague airport (Terminal 3) to catch early flight. It’s not walking distance from other Terminals but there is excellent shuttle bus service – on the phone call. Takes 5-6 min to get to other Terminals . Quite simple but good value for money. Clean.
