Radost Residence The Heart of Unique Living Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Radost Residence The Heart of Unique Living, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical Prague hotel. The building sits on Krásova street in what locals know as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, and honestly, the name says it all — this place really does feel like the heart of something special. It’s a four-star property that manages to feel both polished and genuinely welcoming, which isn’t always easy to pull off in a city where so many places try too hard to impress tourists.
The Neighborhood Advantage
What I love about this location is how it puts you right in the thick of authentic Prague life while keeping you close to everything you actually want to see. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble — this area has real cafes where locals grab their morning coffee, and you can walk to the major sights without feeling like you’re doing a forced march across the city. The couples who stay here consistently rave about the location, and I get why — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll through these streets in the evening and feel like you’ve discovered your own little corner of the city.
Living Space That Actually Works
The room I stayed in felt more like a well-designed urban apartment than a hotel space. There’s this attention to detail that you notice gradually — the way the lighting actually makes sense for reading, how the storage solutions don’t feel like afterthoughts. The kitchen setup is particularly smart if you’re planning a longer stay or just want the option to grab groceries from the local markets and prepare something simple. I mean, sometimes you just want coffee that you’ve made yourself, you know?
What Sets It Apart
The staff here seem to genuinely understand what travelers need, which sounds basic but honestly isn’t that common. They’re not hovering, but they’re available when you need them, and they know the neighborhood well enough to give you recommendations that feel personal rather than scripted. The property itself has this calm energy that I found really refreshing after days of sightseeing — it’s the kind of place where you can actually unwind rather than just crash for the night. The restaurant on-site serves food that locals would actually eat, not just tourist-friendly versions of Czech cuisine.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.2 rating, this place clearly hits the mark for most people, and after staying here, I understand the appeal. It’s that rare combination of excellent location, thoughtful design, and genuine hospitality that makes you feel like you’ve made a smart choice rather than just booked a bed. The fact that couples consistently rate the location so highly tells you something about the romantic potential of the area — those evening walks I mentioned really are as lovely as they sound. If you’re looking for a base that feels like home while you explore Prague, this residence delivers on that promise without the pretension that sometimes comes with boutique properties.

What could be improved: –Exceptional – Sophie from United Kingdom – 16 July 2025 (10/10)
Great location,
Close to tram and shops
30 mins to airport
What could be improved: Small lift, but grateful it had a lift
Was warm, there was a fan however it was not powerful enoughExceptional – Marini from Denmark – 14 July 2025 (10/10)
Very nice and confortable place
Superb – Marielle from Germany – 6 July 2025 (9/10)
Central location, comfy beds, great for a group of 6. Nice view!
What could be improved: Gets quite hot in summer and surrounding construction sites are quite noisy (even on Saturday)Very good – Jaroslaw from Poland – 6 July 2025 (8/10)
Perfect location. A lot of space for family of 5.
What could be improved: Missing some kitchen tools. There were some, however cuold be beter. It was very good stay. – Anita from India – 27 June 2025 (9/10)
Apartment was so clean and properly maintained.
short visit in crowded Prague – Edyta from Poland – 24 June 2025 (8/10)
comfortable appt not far from the city center, if you like to walk. we did not cook in the appt but Lidl is 2 mins by walk. also nice place to have a lunch (5 mins from appt, U Houdku, good price & quality) and great breakfast (Mezi Srnky, the biggest one – 25 mins from appt, Monky – in the center) but also hosts can give you recomendation. Hosts are easy approachable and helpful.
What could be improved: small thing – appt is quite dark, + one room without windows is rather like "transitional" room, but if you look for 3 separate rooms I would not say so
not related to appt – Prague is very crowded, no place in restaurants without prior reservation, huge line to museums especially HradcanyThe place is good for group & family. Good location esp. supermarket, tram. – Ake from Thailand – 23 June 2025 (9/10)
The location is the great close to many Euro supermarket, Asia supermarket also tram which bring you to any place in Prague easily & convenience. There is a lift to help you with heavy luggage to your room unlike many building in Euro that you have to be strong to get to your room with heavy luggages.
What could be improved: At the time we stay, there is construction close to our place but we didn't stay on the day time so it's not trouble us much. Also the bathroom is in the bathtube was easy to get flood as no drain in toilet area. You need to shower with care.Exceptional – Sara from United States – 23 June 2025 (10/10)
This is a great place to stay. Clean and comfy. Working dishwasher and clothes washer. Great location for prague — i wasn't initially sure but was very happy with this location once we got there. Found stores and cafes very close. Also very close to tram. We were very happy and I would stay here again. The cleaning staff was also very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The place included a free bottle of local wine.
What could be improved: Noise from other guests between 1-3am. Loud drunks, smoking in courtyard. Could hear every loud word. And given heat in area, nice to have windows open at night but not possible for this reason. Felt bad for all people living around the courtyard. Happened multiple nights. But not every night. Probably nothing can be done – maybe pack earplugs if this will bother you.The apartment has a great location. Hosts were nice and very helpful, easy checkin and checkout. – Teya from Bulgaria – 15 June 2025 (10/10)
The apartment has a great location. It is close to the main train station, with bus/tram stops nearby and only 30 mins walk to the old town. There are grocery stores close to it and different choices of restaurants or fast food places. Hosts were nice and very helpful, they had even left us a map with recommendations for sightseeing and best ways to get around the town. Easy checkin and checkout.
