The location was fantastic- right off the edge of the old town square.

The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. It was so central we could even hear the famous clock in the square!
Despite being in a busy area it was lovely and quiet in the apartment.
There was a portable electric hob in the cupboard and plenty of crockery. We also really appreciated the guide books and recommendations in the drawer.
What could be improved: Most people probably wouldn't be affected, but the pillows and duvet felt like they were feather filled so we didn't risk using them due to my allergies (thankfully the apartment was well heated). There was also only one pillow each (and some scatter cushions), so perhaps investing in a couple of spare pillows that aren't filled with down would be a good idea?
Just a heads up for anyone planning to travel as friends, the shower is in the main room (although cleverly placed so you wouldn't see it from the bed unless trying to look). We travelled as a married couple so it didn't bother us.
The only thing I missed was a full length mirror!

What could be improved: The lack of communication from the host was unacceptable! He replied 2-3 days later. He never delivered what he offered. We had people unlocking the door and coming in part of the property unannounced while we were there which made us feel unsafe. All doors needed to be locked with a key and we only had one set available making it very inconvenient.
Some lights didn’t work properly and some not at all. The shower was in the kitchen, opened without a curtain or door and didn’t drain, making the floor wet and extremely slippery. We requested more towels to help with the issue but host responded days later and we never received the towels. There was a lot of random things stored in the hallway as soon as we walked in that shouldn’t be there like extra carpet rolls, a suitcase, a ladder, etc. The walls were dirty and stained, there was also mold on the ceiling and some walls. The blanket on the bed was old and nasty with very questionable stains. Drawers under the bed were filthy full of dust, a latex glove and bunch of random dirty items. The dresser didn’t have door handles making it hard to open it. The kitchen was filled with items that were obviously left by previous guests including a nasal spray next to open and used food items. The floor was coming apart in some areas. There was a glass light fixture about to fall right at the front door that I honestly think could hurt someone badly.
There is no elevator so keep in that in mind. The best thing about this place was the location but I wouldn’t recommend it and definitely won’t be back!Samantha from Ireland – 11 December 2024 (3/10)

What could be improved: The apartment had the most unpleasant smell. The smell was that Strong I couldn't sleep the first night as it was turning my stomach. Contacted the owner who advised me to run all the taps and it should sort the problem out ( it did slightly but always came back strong by the evening.) I looked for somewhere else to stay the other 2 nights after he offered a refund but anything that was available was out of the way and totally out of Budget. Another big issue was the bed its all dipped in the middle & extremely uncomfortable has seen better days and needs replacing.
