Queen Bee apartments Overview
You know what really struck me about Queen Bee apartments? The location is actually kind of perfect in this understated way. I mean, you’re on Míšeňská street, which honestly feels more like a local secret than a tourist trap – it’s this quiet little stretch that somehow puts you right in the heart of Prague’s Lesser Town without all the chaos of the main squares. Walking to Prague Castle takes maybe eight minutes if you’re being leisurely about it, and Old Town Square is just across the river, but the street itself has this calm residential vibe where you can actually hear yourself think.
The apartments themselves have that Eastern European charm that’s hard to fake – I’m talking original hardwood floors that creak just enough to feel authentic, high ceilings that make even the smaller units feel spacious, and windows that actually open wide (which, trust me, you’ll appreciate during those surprisingly warm Prague summers). What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to modernize everything without losing character. The kitchens are properly equipped – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer – and the WiFi actually works consistently, which isn’t always a given in these older buildings. The bathrooms are updated too, though some still have those compact European layouts that take a day or two to navigate gracefully.
Honestly, the 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not trying to be some flashy boutique experience, but everything just… works. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering staff or overwhelming amenities lists, just practical information about the neighborhood and genuinely helpful suggestions about where to grab groceries (there’s a Tesco about three blocks down Nerudova if you’re wondering). The building stays pretty quiet even during peak tourist season, partly because it’s just off the main pedestrian flow but also because the other guests tend to be travelers who actually chose the location thoughtfully rather than just booking the first thing they found. Parking can be tricky like anywhere in this part of Prague, but they’ll point you toward a garage that’s about a five-minute walk – honestly, you’re better off just using the trams anyway since you’re so well connected to everything. I’d definitely go back, especially in fall when the crowds thin out and you can really appreciate having such easy access to all those winding castle district streets without feeling like you’re fighting for sidewalk space.
Early hotels booking in Prague is essential during major events like the Prague Spring Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned classical music scene and Gothic architecture.

Reviews of Queen Bee apartments
Home in Prague – Soner from Turkey – 16 February 2025 (10/10)
Our hosts were really helpfull. The detailed information about room and city was perfect. The room was ready and clean. Place is very close to everywhere. We didn't even use a single bus or train. Also cafe staff ladies were also very kind to us. Thanks for everything. See you soon. 😊
Superb – Nikos from United Kingdom – 12 June 2024 (9/10)
Great location. Close to everything in Prague.
Charming little flat in a nice historic surrounding. – Athilly from Luxembourg – 27 February 2024 (10/10)
Very cool Building, historic authentic and the flat was small but comfy. Little Kitchenette provided everything we needed during our stay. We only had breakfast in the morning but worked just great with the 2 chairs and small table.
Small but definitly enough space for 2 people for a few days.
Perfect central Location close to the action but still a pretty quiet sidestreet. I think the windows did a great job on that giving that a Cafe is just underneath, latest after midnight it was quiet but even before it was very barable. As a light sleeper I slept great without earplugs.
What could be improved: Pickup of the keys at the Café that shares the same entrance of the building, we weren't sure if we were in the right place but it was easy afterall and that place is open from morning until midnight so everything worked out just fine.
Travelling with the car not to easy to find a parking space for a few days, we were lucky but still had to carry the luggage along the cobblestone streets.Wonderful place – Jane from United Kingdom – 5 December 2023 (10/10)
Lovely studio, had everything we needed, very clean and super comfy bed.
The location is brilliant with a great cafe/bar downstairs. Can't fault anything and would highly recommend it!!

Perfect location, clean bedroom, nice facilities
What could be improved: Maybe noise because of the bars around that street, but really it didnt bother me that much.Great location. Super apartment. Very helpful hosts in Lenka and Jaroslav. – David from United States – 8 June 2023 (10/10)
Lovely refurbished apartments in a historic building.
Very good – Kevin from United Kingdom – 22 July 2025 (8/10)
Location and price can't be beat
What could be improved: No air conExcellent value for money, beautifully decorated and very comfortable in a superb location. – Tree from United Kingdom – 10 February 2024 (8/10)
The location was excellent, right by the old bridge, many shops and cafes. The apartment was vert comfortable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable too.
What could be improved: The sofa in the living area was not very comfortable to sit on. Two arm chairs would have been good. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment but there was not enough space to prepare food, so more counter top space is needed.
