The rooms are well, they’re proper hotel rooms – clean, comfortable beds, decent bathrooms with strong water pressure (which honestly matters more than you think after walking Prague’s cobblestones all day). The garden area they mention in the name isn’t huge, but it’s this surprisingly peaceful little courtyard where you can sit with morning coffee and not feel like you’re in the middle of a major European capital.

Here’s the thing about this area – it gets busy during the day because everyone’s heading to or from the castle, but evenings are actually pretty serene. You’ll hear church bells from St. Nicholas rather than traffic, which is sort of magical if you’re into that. Parking can be tricky around here (I mean, it’s Prague), but they’ve got arrangements that work out better than trying to navigate those narrow streets yourself. The 8.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it delivers on what matters. Good location without the premium prices of staying right on Wenceslas Square, solid service from people who seem to genuinely like helping guests figure out the city, and you’re positioned perfectly for exploring both the touristy bits and the authentic Prague that locals actually live in. Plus, there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that feels more like a neighborhood find than a tourist processing center.
